Danzig Comments On "Blackest Of The Black" Tour
As previously reported, Danzig will team up with Dimmu Borgir, Skeletonwitch, Winds Of Plague and Moonspell for the "Blackest of the Black" tour.
Glenn Danzig comments: "It will be nice to get back to many of these cities that I have not been to in some time and do the Live Show for all the People who've followed my music all these years. I'm also very happy to have DIMMU BORGIR sharing the stage this time, as they are one of my favorite bands and always wanted them on Blackest Of The Black. Should be an INCREDIBLE 20th anniversary tour."
Danzig Announces Tour With Dimmu Borgir
Danzig will embark on their "Blackest of the Black" tour this summer and joining them will be Dimmu Borgir, Moonspell, Skeletonwitch and Winds Of Plague. The tour is set to go all over the United States and will venture into Canada aswell. Stay tuned for tour dates and more information.
Revolver Presents Third "Hottest Chicks In Metal"
For the third year in a row, Revolver magazine presents its best selling "Hottest Chicks in Metal," the issue that flies off the newsstands and ends up everybody's favorite cut and staple on the wall. The issue goes on sale Tuesday, April 22 with all new photos done especially for Revolver. Led by TV fixture Kat Von D, who just hooked up with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, metalcore Bleeding Through's Marta Brink, death metal Sonic Syndicate's Karin Axelsson, deathcore Winds of Plague's Kristen Randall, and speed metal Light This City's Laura Nichol.

Complete NEMHF 2008 Lineup Revealed
The complete lineup for the 10th Anniversary of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, set for weekend of April 25-27 at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachussetts has been confirmed.
The largest and most successful metal festival in the United States will be presented this year by ESP, Randall, EMG, exclusive magazine presenter Metal Maniacs Magazine, and "Summer Slaughter Tour" second stage sponsor Sumerian Records.
"When we first started, we never could have much this festival would have grown," said festival co-founder Scott Lee. "It started out of our love for metal and it’s been amazing to be able to share that with fans who love it as much as we do. It’s also gratifying to be able to give exposure to up-and-coming bands and watch them develop into international stars."
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will present Gigantour featuring Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy and High on Fire on Friday night. Doors will open Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday will kick off the full two-stage set up at 11:30 a.m. with for the Fallen Dreams, Veil of Maya, Trap Them, COCKPUNCH!, Xtryrantx, Winds of Plague, From A Second Story Window, Soilent Green, Arsis, Sleeping Giant, Stick to Your Guns, First Blood, Disfear, Municipal Waste, The Ghost Inside, Embrace the End, The End, Keep Of Kalessin, Monstrosity, Skeletonwitch, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Animosity, As Blood Runs Black, Heaven Shall Burn, Vital Remains, Kataklysm, Hate Eternal, The Acacia Strain, Overkill, Behemoth, Shadows Fall, and Dimmu Borgir.
Sunday’s lineup includes Classic Struggle, Stray from the Path, Waking the Cadaver, Unholy, Cold World, Recon, Elysia, Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, On Broken Wings, Dead to Fall, Full Blown Chaos, Ligeia, Since the Flood, Shai Hulud, Hemlock, After the Burial, Unexpect, Thy Will Be Done, Born of Osiris, Impending Doom, Kid Deposit Triumph, Vanna, Emmure, A Life Once Lost, Despised Icon, God Forbid, Eluveitie, Tyr, Turisas, Ensiferum, Nevermore, Meshuggah, and Ministry. The show will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The festival will also host the popular vendor area, where fans can pick up an assortment of rare CDs, t-shirts, and other memorabilia. Artists performing at the show will be on hand for meet and greets throughout the three days.
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival is also sponsored by Metal Edge Magazine, Monster Energy, All In Merchandise, 518 Prints, MTV’s Headbanger’s Blog, The Syndicate, Mazur PR, Heavy Hitter, Scott Lee Clothing, and many more to be announced.

Winds Of Plague Embark On US Tour
WINDS OF PLAGUE just completed the Arthropodan Eroticism Tour with DEAD TO FALL, IMPENDING DOOM and BELAY MY LAST, leaving a trail of disaster throughout each city. The addition of Kristen Randall (keyboards) added another deadly element to their already devastating assault.
Winds Of Plague now prepare for another US run, dubbed Comes From The Heart, with labelmates STICK TO YOUR GUNS. Impending Doom and VEIL OF MAYA round out the bill.

Impending Doom Announce New Tour Dates
California-based Christian death metallers IMPENDING DOOM are touring in support of their debut album, "Nailed. Dead. Risen.", which has been hailed as "devastatingly dark and crushing metal."
In addition to their tour dates with DEAD TO FALL, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS, STICK TO YOUR GUNS and WINDS OF PLAGUE, IMPENDING DOOM will also be making stops at the first night of Facedown Fest, the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest and July 3 on the Underground Stage at the Cornerstone Festival.

10th Annual NEMHF Details Revealed
This year will mark the tenth anniversary of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, the largest and most successful metal festival in the United States.
This year’s show, presented by ESP, Randall, EMG, and exclusive magazine presenter Metal Maniacs Magazine, will take place the weekend of April 25-27 at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass., its home since its inception. Sumerian Records will sponsor the “Summer Slaughter Tour” second stage.
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will present Gigantour featuring Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy and High on Fire on Friday night. Saturday will be headlined by Dimmu Borgir, Shadows Fall, and Behemoth. Ministry, Meshuggah, and Nevermore will close out the festival on Sunday night.

Winds Of Plague Announces New Keyboardist
Winds Of Plague has officially added former Abigail Williams keyboard player Kristen Randall to their line-up. Singer Johnny comments:
"We're currently out on tour with Kristen and couldn't be happier to announce her as a permanent member. The Dead To Fall tour has been amazing so far. Every city has showed us a lot of love and the crowds have gone insane. We are pleasantly surprised at how well the public is taking to our new material and we can't wait for this new album to circulate because our live shows are just going to get more and more insane as people become familiar with the tracks."
Belay My Last Drops Off Dead To Fall Tour
Belay My Last has dropped off their upcoming tour with Dead To Fall, Winds Of Plague, and Impending Doom. The group attributes the cancellation to problems with drummer Ilai Lebel's broken arm, which is not healing "correctly." Belay My Last will be replaced on the tour by With Dead Hands Rising.

Southern California’s WINDS OF PLAGUE will release their forthcoming new album, Decimate The Weak, on February 5th via Century Media Records. The album was recorded with Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, A Love Ends Suicide) and mixed by Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted). Winds of Plague Seeks New Keyboardist
Los Angeles metal band Winds Of Plague (Century Media Records) are currently looking for a full-time keyboard player. The group comments:
"[We are] looking for a key player, male or female; it doesn't really matter. We are looking for a full-time commitment, someone creative that can really contribute to writing new material. Vocal abilities are a huge plus. No douches."

Seventh Dagger Signs Distro Deal w/ Warner Bros.
Seventh Dagger Records has officially inked a new distribution deal with East West via Warner Brothers Distribution. This new deal will span both physical and digital distribution. Seventh Dagger comments:
"This new partnership ushers in a new era for Seventh Dagger, allowing for extensive label growth and a much wider level of distribution spanning the entirety of the Uninted States and Canada."
As of October 16th, the entire Seventh Dagger back catalog will be available in both physical and digital formats. Expect new releases from xBarcadiax, Eyes To The Sky, xThe Warx, and a xAFBx/Winds of Plague split in 2008.
Winds Of Plague Sign With Century Media Records
WINDS OF PLAGUE has inked a worldwide deal with Century Media Records.
Hailing from Los Angeles, these youngsters have their share of Southern California hardcore roots running in their backyard, though the atmospheric sounds of Scandinavian black metal and classic American metal reign supreme in the bands music, too.
"In a scene overwhelmed with fake people and bands thinking they're the second coming of Christ, WINDS OF PLAGUE strives to create something real," comments singer Johnny P.

WINDS OF PLAGUE will soon embark on "The American Uprising Tour," a lengthy summer trek that kicks off on June 27th with Catherine and Beneath The Sky.
