The buzz surrounding WINDS OF PLAGUE is continuing to build leading up to the release date for their much anticipated Century Media Records debut album, Decimate The Weak, which is set for a Feb. 5th release. This stunning slab of brutality annihilates the listener with its razor sharp riffs and sheer intensity backed with a monsoon of angst and inner demons that is just waiting to be expelled on stage.
For a small taste of the devastation that awaits check out the band’s new embeddable E-card widget at the band's MySpace page. The widget has three tracks from the album: “One Body Too Many,” “Angels of Debauchery” and the brand new, never before heard song, “The Impaler,” plus a mini video documentary recorded on the band's current European tour with Shai Hulud and a photo gallery. IMPENDING DOOM have been on the road non-stop since their debut album Nailed. Dead. Risen was released on September 4th and they are keeping it going in the new year.

Southern California’s WINDS OF PLAGUE will release their forthcoming new album, Decimate The Weak, on February 5th via Century Media Records. The album was recorded with Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, A Love Ends Suicide) and mixed by Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted). Los Angeles metal band Winds Of Plague (Century Media Records) are currently looking for a full-time keyboard player. The group comments:
"[We are] looking for a key player, male or female; it doesn't really matter. We are looking for a full-time commitment, someone creative that can really contribute to writing new material. Vocal abilities are a huge plus. No douches."

Seventh Dagger Records has officially inked a new distribution deal with East West via Warner Brothers Distribution. This new deal will span both physical and digital distribution. Seventh Dagger comments:
"This new partnership ushers in a new era for Seventh Dagger, allowing for extensive label growth and a much wider level of distribution spanning the entirety of the Uninted States and Canada."
As of October 16th, the entire Seventh Dagger back catalog will be available in both physical and digital formats. Expect new releases from xBarcadiax, Eyes To The Sky, xThe Warx, and a xAFBx/Winds of Plague split in 2008.
WINDS OF PLAGUE has inked a worldwide deal with Century Media Records.
Hailing from Los Angeles, these youngsters have their share of Southern California hardcore roots running in their backyard, though the atmospheric sounds of Scandinavian black metal and classic American metal reign supreme in the bands music, too.
"In a scene overwhelmed with fake people and bands thinking they're the second coming of Christ, WINDS OF PLAGUE strives to create something real," comments singer Johnny P.

Johnny Plague (vocals) checks in with the following report: "We're packin up the WOP camp and heading out on this two month headlining trek across North America. We can't wait for all the stage dives and high fives that await us. Winds Of Plague drummer Jeff Tenney has reportedly rejoined the band. Tenney originally left the group this past Spring for "personal reasons."
Winds Of Plague drummer, Jeff, is leaving the band for "personal reasons." According to the band, "we totally understand, shit comes up and you have to handle it, he has left us on good terms and we wish him the best of luck." The California band is now in search of a replacement. Interested candidates should request more information here.
Southern California's Winds Of Plague have officially signed with Life Sentence Records. Featuring former members of Bleak December, the hardcore/metal band will release a new full-length this summer. You can check out some of their material here.
