Winds of Plague Offer Update, Tour Schedule

WINDS OF PLAGUE will soon embark on "The American Uprising Tour," a lengthy summer trek that kicks off on June 27th with Catherine and Beneath The Sky. Born of Osiris and At The Throne of Judgment will also join the tour a week later. See the tour section for the current itinerary. The group recently completed work on their much-anticipated Century Media debut offering with Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, A Love Ends Suicide).

Johnny Plague (vocals) checks in with the following report: "We're packin up the WOP camp and heading out on this two month headlining trek across North America. We can't wait for all the stage dives and high fives that await us. To let kids know what to expect at a WOP show and so they can prepare for battle we uploaded a live video of the track 'Angels Of Debauchery' onto our MySpace page www.myspace.com/windsofplague. Check that out, see when were coming to your town and prepare to witness an uprising.

WINDS OF PLAGUE are set to embark on "The American Uprising Tour," a lengthy summer trek that kicks off on June 27th with Catherine, Beneath The Sky, Born of Osiris and At The Throne of Judgment. This Los Angeles based quintet have their share of Southern CA hardcore roots running in their backyard, though the atmospheric sounds of Scandinavian black metal and classic American metal reign supreme in the bands music. For more information check out their myspace page.

Century Media Records Sign Winds of Plague

Winds of Plague have singed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. Hailing from Los Angeles, Winds of Plague have their share of Southern CA hardcore roots running in their backyard, though the atmospheric sounds of Scandinavian black metal and classic American metal reign supreme in the band's music.

"In a scene overwhelmed with fake people and bands thinking they're the second coming of Christ, Winds Of Plague strives to create something real," comments singer, Johnny P.

"Century Media has an excellent history of releasing some of the most groundbreaking metal albums in history," says bassist, Captain Andrew Glover. "We're glad to be part of this tradition." More...

Winds Of Plague drummer Jeff Tenney has reportedly rejoined the band. Tenney originally left the group this past Spring for "personal reasons."

Winds Of Plague drummer, Jeff, is leaving the band for "personal reasons." According to the band, "we totally understand, shit comes up and you have to handle it, he has left us on good terms and we wish him the best of luck."
