Project: Failing Flesh Posts New Music Online

Virginia thrash metal band Project: Failing Flesh has issued the following album update:

"Count Back From Ten is complete!! A few new tracks are now posted on Myspace. As some may know our friends at our last label Burning Star Records have run out of money (not shocking, considering the times) and sadly had to close down the label. We are still deciding what method to take to release CBFT. Whether we want to take the somewhat time consuming method of dealing with a new label.. or just do a self release and possibly license it... or even make it available via download.. or some combination of all these options. No matter the method some promos will be printed up and close friends and fans will hopefully be able to hear this thing very soon! It's been a long process but we are completely happy with the result and that is the only important thing...not time tables, labels, etc."

The tracklisting for "Count Back From Ten" is as follows:

01. Count Back From Ten
02. White Light Response
03. Inanimate Objects
04. The Potential to...
05. Patient Zero
06. The Void Between Skin and Bone
07. Percussion Fracture
08. Irrelevant Thoughts (Prong cover)
09. Lose Lose Situation
10. Cadence

Project: Failing Flesh Issues New Album Update

Tim Gutierrez of Project: Failing Flesh has issued the following update about recording a new album:

"Been quiet here for a good while but stuff has been progressing with the upcoming 'Count Back From Ten' album. The tracking is now finished and Kevin has started mixing as time allows. So release shouldn't be too far off. But who knows what that means in P:FF time! Eric did his vocals a few months ago before returning to France but was just recently back in North America again over the past week or so with E-Force for some Canada shows in Montreal and Toronto (supporting the mighty Sacrifice). Also within the last month Loston Harris once again made the trek to Assembly Line Studios to play / finish additional keyboards on the album. He's played on the past two albums as well so he's like the fourth member at this point. Anyway... in our opinion, all is sounding great with the album and we are anxious to get it mixed, mastered, and out there for people to finally hear. Stay tuned for updates, artwork, and sound samples."

The track listing will be as follows:

1. Count Back From Ten
2. White Light Response
3. Inanimate Objects
4. The Potential to...
5. Patient Zero
6. The Void Between Skin and Bone
7. Percussion Fracture
8. Irrelevant Thoughts (Prong cover)
9. Lose Lose Situation

Project: Failing Flesh Issues Recording Update

Project: Failing Flesh vocalist Eric Forrest has issued the following announcement about the recording of their new album:

"Hello, how's it going? Well, it's going killer as usual down here in Virginia at Assembly Line Studios. Great to be back in the USA! Tracks have been going pretty fast, have three more to do and managed a photo shoot today with photographer named Brian Bridgewater.... P:FF #3?? Fans of the first two albums will not be disappointed. It's a little different in some parts, but still has the P:FF signature in my opinion... check it out when released, enjoy!... more soon."

Project: Failing Flesh Prepare To Master New Album

PROJECT: FAILING FLESH, the new group featuring former VOIVOD/current E-FORCE bassist/vocalist Eric Forrest, Kevin 131 (GARDEN OF SHADOWS, TWISTED TOWER DIRE, BRAVE, WHILE HEAVEN WEPT) and Tim Gutierrez (instruments), will master their new album, "The Conjoined", on January 24.

Kevin 131 had previously stated about the upcoming CD, "The songs are sounding great, very happy with them. But I guess every band says that about their new record. Eric sounds the best he ever has, Tim's riffing and ideas are sick as usual, and the songs are quite varied. Nice places that break it up with strange parts. Same as last time, we just did whatever we wanted to for this record. It's not all the same type of sound all the way through, enough things to keep it interesting."

PROJECT: FAILING FLESH's debut album, "A Beautiful Sickness", was released in the U.S. in early 2005 via Candlelight Records USA. The CD was issued in Europe in September 2004 through Holland's Karmageddon Media (formerly Hammerheart Records).
