The Lurking Corpses To Release New Album

The Lurking Corpses return from the grave to wreak more havoc in the cemetery with "Workin' For the Devil," set for international release on October 14th via Hells Headbangers. This will be the ghoulish quintet's first full-length in six long, undead years.

The Lurking Corpses Releases Music Video

The Lurking Corpses has checked in with the following announcement about releasing a new music video:

"So, we did a video for a new song called 'The Leech and the Worm' from our upcoming album 'Working For The Devil.'

"We filmed it back in April, did a live premiere in May, but the video had not yet been made publicly available until the other day. Director James Turner put it up for everyone to see now. So, go check it out!"

The Lurking Corpses Splits With Bassist

U.S. act The Lurking Corpses has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band's bassist:

"We are sad to announce that the show we are playing with Viking, Vindicator, and Swamp Squat this Friday at The Brass Rail will be the last show for our long time bass player, The Nameless Horror.

"He has been with us for a long time, and has been an extremely important member of this band - he wrote 3 of the songs on our upcoming album, is a great player, amazing live presence, great dude, etc.

"There is no bad blood, drama, or any of that kind of stuff. He is leaving to focus more attention on his other band, Ptahil (excellent black metal/doom/death/thrash/punk stuff- check them out!) Please come out and wish The Nameless Horror a fond farewell. He will be missed..." More...

The Beyond Releasing Split 7"

The Beyond will be releasing a split 7" with The Lurking Corpses titled "Gross Encounters of the Sacrificial Rite." The disc will feature two new songs from The Beyond - "The Sacrificial Whores of Satan" and "Total Genocide." On the flipside of the disc will be a couple tracks from The Lurking Corpses, a cover of Grim Reaper's "See You in Hell" and the song "Midnight Munging." The split 7" should be released soon on Horror Pain Gore Death productions.
