Fall Of Summer Reveals Final Band Additions

The Fall Of Summer team is proud to announce the last seven bands of the third edition's line up. The festival's organizers comment:

"So we will start with two bands from the 70s. For the first one, formed in 1972 if you don't recall their name, you will certainly remember their music, as the Italian progressive rock band Claudio Simonetti's Goblin is known for their soundtrack work for films like 'Suspiria,' 'Dawn of the Dead,' 'Profondo Rosso' and we know already that their performance on the Blackwater stage with it's natural amphitheater, the video screening and the lake behind will be one of the highlights of the festival.

"Another band you would be a fool to miss and we are glad to announce is Riot V. If you search for heavy speed ,etal at its best don't search further and just enjoy a pure metal moment with a band that hasn't played in France for so long that we had to do something.

"Let's move to the 80's with two great and solid bands who have always been a reference in their countries, with Heavy Metal french representatives ADX and polish death metal masters Vader. Two bands that don't need introduction and who will as always provide a kick ass gig.

"If we now look at the 90's, we are thrilled to remind you the birth of funeral doom in Finland and announce that, one of its pioneers, Skepticism will join us, or another crucial band that we needed to bring to Fall Of Summer and to France for the first time. More...

"To fill the gap between the musically extremely disappointing 'Tetragrammaton' and their newest assault on the fundamental canons of good taste in art in general, The Monolith Deathcult decided to record their first EP containing 6 crushing tracks with heinous lyrics (which will get stuck like a fishbone in the throat), a remix of 'Todesnacht von Stammheim' (let’s try to polish the turd), a live track recorded somewhere in Europe and very rare tracks inspired by their performance on National Icelandic Radio." Robin Kok (Bass/Vocals): "Our newest CD will be a pastiche of left-wing cant, fawning references, grandiose quotations and outright nonsense structured around the silliest lyrics we could invent about history and war. I shall have an article published about it in next month's Poststructuralist vs. Leavisite Quarterly in the Theoretical Mathematics & Automatic Rifle Review Supplement."

Michiel Dekker (Guitars/Vocals): "I am afraid that after the release of our upcoming monument of boredom 'Tetragrammaton,' Season of Mist will be called Season of Shit."

Ivo Hilgenkamp (Guitars/Vocals): On probation - Not allowed to say anything.

Sjoerd Visch (Drums): "Just placed an order for the new 745i, leather upholstery, the works. Happiest day of my life (met een F overigens)." More...
