Manowar Comments On Fans Being Denied Entry To Show
Manowar has checked in with the following statement about fans being turned away from a show in Chicago last night:
"We are sorry for those Manowarriors who made the trip from Detroit yesterday, but could not get into the show last night.
"We were not the promoters of these shows and therefore had no control over the events. We had asked the promoters in Chicago to support us in helping our fans from Detroit and they agreed, for which we applaud them.
"Due to the unforeseeable issues at Concord Music Hall a move to a smaller venue at shortest notice required some changes and made it impossible for the promoters to let everybody in as planned.
"We are glad a solution could be found on such short notice to play the show last night. We are very sorry that it was not possible for some of you to get in.
"Those who had a ticket for Detroit and could not get into the Chicago show, please send an email to sales@magiccirclemusic.com with subject line 'Detroit SOS.' You will be contacted ASAP.
"Thank you for your faith and loyalty!
"Those with tickets for the Chicago show who could not get in, please contact the promoter of the show, Riot Fest. Also: MANOWAR will return to Chicago on Nov, 15. More details will follow."
Manowar will be releasing "Kings of Metal MMXIV" - a completely new recording, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the release of "Kings Of Metal" - on February 28th, 2014 as a 2 Disc CD with two 24-page booklets.

Thank you for the explanation. I had tickets for the Chicago show but I was denied entrance. I tried to contact the promoter Riot Fest, but they do not have a web page to be contacted. All I like to get is my money back or a ticket for the November 15 show. But there is nobody to contact about the situation.
Thank You

I think the fans got the better end of this deal. I've seen Manocrap live. I just don't see the value in this band.
