Drudkh Streaming New Song "...W Krainie Drzew"
Ukrainian black metal pioneers Drudkh have released a track from the new split EP alongside Winterfylleth. The first track, titled "...W Krainie Drzew" is streaming now in the player below courtesy of Stereogum.com.
"...W Krainie Drzew" was originally written and recorded by Hefeystos (Poland) in 1997. The song's emotional black metal and heathen background rooted in ancient Slavonic nature was a natural precursor to Drudkh's signature sound.
The split EP, titled '‘Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates," will feature four-tracks taking the shape of cover songs recorded by both bands paying tribute to their early influences. The track listing is as follows:
1. Drudkh - …W Krainie Drzew (Hefeystos cover)
2. Drudkh - Ten, Ktery Se Vyhyba Svetlu (Unclean cover)
3. Drudkh - Recidivus (Sacrilegium cover)
4. Winterfylleth - The Gates (Hate Forest cover)
"Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates" will see a release on January 2014 as a dark blue, hand-numbered 12" Lp limited to 666 copies.
