AFM Records Signs Vanishing Point

Australian progressive metal band Vanishing Point has signed on with AFM Records. Vanishing Point was founded in 1995 and released four albums, the last of which - "The Fourth Season" - was issued in 2007 via Dockyard 1. The new album "Distant Is the Sun" is scheduled for release on February 21st.

According to the press release: "Fans can look forward to a bloody awesome record that features the unique mixture of Melodic Metal, Power/Progressive- & AOR that the band is known for. Welcome aboard!"

The new record will be the debut studio appearance of guitarist James "Bushy" Maier, who joined last year.
