Carcass To Support Amon Amarth On European Tour

British extreme metal legends Carcass have been confirmed to team up with Amon Amarth on an upcoming European run. Jeff Walker commented:

"We are extremely happy and flattered to have been invited by the mighty Amon Amarth on their forthcoming raids upon the fatherland and it's borders.

"Carcass has not played a club tour in Germany for TWENTY YEARS!!! Yes I repeat TWENTY YEARS! This is gonna be great with both bands playing songs from their new killer albums 'Deceiver of The Gods' and 'Surgical Steel.' Anglo-Nordic Death Metal über Deutschland!"

it is a bit off for sure from an old school perspective, but considering that a lot of people don't even know who Carcass is anymore, it makes a bit of sense...and it may indeed bring forth a Carcass revival, as alluded to above^ which would be most welcome...hopefully the run goes well, and they bring it over to this side for a dual-headliner! \m/

Consider also that AA is under 5 finger hand job on the mayhem bill, and it is too clear that commercialism pervades deeply...even into the metal, unfortunately

NP---Gods of War Arise (which sounds pretty much exactly like about half dozen other Amarth tunes :)
