Stone Sour Announces Part 2 For "House Of Gold & Bones," New Tour Dates

Stone Sour will be releasing Part 2 of the band's two part album series, "House Of Gold & Bones," on April 9th, 2013.

The new album includes the single "Do Me A Favor," which is currently climbing the Active Rock building chart (now at #15). The track is actually one of three in the Active Top Twenty that feature Stone Sour's Corey Taylor – the other two being “Absolute Zero” from House of Gold & Bones Part 1 and “From Can To Can’t,” a collaboration with Dave Grohl featured on Sound City: Real To Reel, the soundtrack to Grohl’s recently released “Sound City” documentary. Both Stone Sour songs are available on iTunes now.

Stone Sour also recently announced details of a spring trek - the “Revolver Road To The Golden Gods” tour. Supporting the band on the coast-to-coast run will be hard rockers In This Moment and Hell or Highwater. The dates get underway April 2nd at Portland, Maine’s State Theatre and culminate with a performance at the 5th Annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards on May 2nd at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia.

In other media, the first issue of "House Of Gold & Bones" (Dark Horse Comics) will be released April 17th, written by Corey Taylor and featuring the artwork of Richard Clarke (interior) and Jason Shawn Alexander (cover).

My first listen was sorta tough but by the third I started to hear and see what he was talking about-to me thru me- and having been way off course before on concepts I very well may be way the hell off on this. From the 1st track to the last ( I got lost in the last song still trying to find my way out) this to me is the inception to the rejection of the fetus. It pulls me apart.
