Kvelertak Reveals New Album "Meir" Artwork
Kvelertak has revealed the cover art to the band's upcoming album "Meir," created by John Dyer Baizley of Baroness, who also did the cover for Kvelertak's self-titled debut. "Meir" will be available everywhere March 26th, 2013 via Roadrunner Records. The "Meir" track listing is as follows:

Pehaps, but its a decent enough twist to the Nymph of Eden gleaning the Earthly Carnal Knowledge from ol 'Bub...looks like she mighta done kilt the poor bastard anyway :)
And at least its not a common slithery belly crawler in the depiction, eh? even if the curly horns is just a bit 'off'...

on second glance, there is other interesting symbolism involved as well...the fallen c***erel (Adam?), poor ol Beelz head lain upon the Crown of Thorns, and what appears to be the head of a (Cain's?) cudgel on the left of the image
So it kinda now as a rather clever flouting of the most general of, er, 'certain' orthodox imagery and implication...of course, I could very well be WAY off :)

I love Baizley's work, but is it becoming a post-metal cliche?
