A radio-broadcast-quality version of KORN's cover of "Word Up", originally recorded by the legendary R&B act CAMEO, has been posted online at this location (courtesy of the KORN fan site KoRnTV.co.uk). "Word Up" is the first single off KORN's forthcoming collection, "Greatest Hits: Volume One", tentatively due on October 12 through Epic Records. CAMEO's version of the tune, released in 1986, reached Number Six on the pop charts. KORN have recorded several other covers for possible inclusion on the disc, including PINK FLOYD's "Another Brick In The Wall", PUBLIC ENEMY's "Fight The Power", FAITH NO MORE's "We Care A Lot", and NINE INCH NAILS' "Head Like A Hole". The latter features a guest appearance from LINKIN PARK vocalist Chester Bennington. A full-length album of cover tunes is tentatively in the works for future release.

listen, korn was good, on their first 3 albums, it's been a constant downhill slide. how the f*** can you write a song like y'all want a single, and then go on tour with linkin park and snoop dogg to support that sh**, f*** korn, hypocritical pieces of sh**. if you're going to do that sh**, tell people, say "hey, we like money, linkin park tours make money, and we are whores if you pay us, thank you" and when all the korn groupies hear that sh**, they buy a f***in ticket, because "KORN IS THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD". listen to real metal jackass. i hate all this f***in fake a$$ sh** that gets released, every f***in week, some fake a$$ band, has a fake a$$ cd come out, don't fund sh**, just because they used to be good, doesn't mean you need to buy it.
f*** NU-METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. writes:
"korn was good on the first three albums."
you trendy piece of sh**. you just go along with that saying because chino from the deftones says sh** like that. how old are you, 13? UNTOUCHABLES owns everything they've ever done (besides ISSUES) because of how original and unique it was, unlike 99% of nĂ¼-metal out there. trust me, i'm not finished with you, there's more to come later.
what is real metal to you anyways? i can guarantee you, a true #1 korn fan, that i know more about real metal than you do, and korn isn't even metal, so you just made yourself look like an idiot by saying that. and they aren't new either. 1992 isn't new, kid.

5. writes:
Sorry, Untouchables was the worst POS album ever. I almost wrote off Korn, but their followup was worth it. The first two albums are by far the best though. Screw this 80's-remake sh**. That's a nu-metal trend that should have died already. Nostalgic as it may be, 80s pop/rock sucked and nu-metal covers of it suck too.

i'm not going to address anything johnny has said except this. real metal is bands like dimmu borgir, psycroptic, misery index, aeternus, deeds of flesh, cryptopsy, death, callenish circle, as i lay dying, horned god, darkest hour, in flames, chimaira, exmortem, suffocation, decapitated, behemoth, krisiun, vader, beheaded, brutus, decrepit birth, fleshcrawl, nile, necronomicon, pessimist, severed savior, spawn of possession, vile, and that's only about half of the real metal that i own, what do you listen to, mudvayne and slipknot and think they're hardcore, f*** you. and i'm a lot older than 13 so f*** off with that sh**.

9. writes:
...I listened to half of your bands you mentioned, and they seriously don't interest me at all... IT's all growls, and low strung guitars... I have heard the same riffs over and over again from every band. This is same thing over and over again, as linkin park is to samething over and over again. Do you really have it so bad that you force yourself to listen to crap and cookie monster rock to be accepted by age? You are f***ing ignorant. You should never be given the right to judge anything, if you can't acknowledge that slipknot or mudvayne are metal, then go ahead and say chimaira is metal, you are a contradicting yourself. They both sound have the save heavy-ness. All of this Dark death Black metal all usually consists of fast bass kicks and the growler guys complaining about death and life and how everything sucks and I do agree alot of things suck, but that music is all running together, there is no more creativity, and all nu-metal and all of that mainstream sh** is all running together too, and pretty soon, All music will run together and everything will suck even more, then you won't have anything to b**** about. because then every damn song will sound the same and will consist of lyrics that sound the same too...

(chorus)CHRAEFOIHFOIEHFIENIH!!!!
UIEOCIENOIHDIHFOIEOOO!!!"(more blast beats)
(ghastly solo)
^if thats real metal, then real metal can f*** off.You aint sh** to come here to tell people whats metal and whats not.You might as well acept Slipknot into the metal catagory.Cuz Nu Metal will die soon, but Slipknot will be remembered much longer that that.10 years from now, they will be looked upon as a metal band.Who gets the last laugh?

13. writes:
BTW,Untouchables was horrible, and I think Take A Look in the Mirror is even worst. No musicianship to it whatsoever.I can only say I liked their first 2 albums. But TALitM is absolutely horrible.Im surprised so many people liked it.Not once did I say "oh that riff is tight" or "this is badass".It sucks. As for Jon Davis,he's about 35,he's a millionare,he has nothing to b**** about.Yet every song of theirs consist of him crying about something.I guess his mom wouldnt let him buy addidas when he was a kid.Whatever it was,he needs to get over it.

14. writes:
KoRn is sitll and will always be one of my favorite bands. I do agree they have been going on a big decline and I'm not sure y KoRn even put their names on Untouchables, that album was horrible, and pretty much cost them their career. Yeah it had a few good songs but that's it. And that album got boring realllly fast. I don't think they will ever reach where they were back in the 90s because like every band they matured as musicians and vocally it's just not as raw, I guess you can say. But, Take A Look In The Mirror is one great cd. It's a little late for this, but I think they are starting to find themselves again.
As for what's "real" metal, I do consider OLD slipknot and mudvayne metal, but to me metal as in actual heavy metal, not sub genres like nu-metal or black metal, are bands like shadows fall, lamb of god, chimaira, but of course you also have your classics in Sabbath, Priest, and the like. But I'm a fan of a lot of Nu-Metal bands, as well as Metal bands, hard rock bands, and alternative. I can understand why heavier bands don't like nu-metal but I never understood the feud between fans. Everyone has their own tastes, I consider myself a metalhead, just because I still like Staind who I followed since Tormented, and not so heavy bands like Endo, and Filter, doesn't make me any less of a metalhead.

15. writes:
korn is falling down a black hole. i hate to say it, but it's true.
i'll have to agree with n6x6891- just because you listen to a few different bands that
aren't "metal" you can still be what is called a "metalhead". i like AFI and A Perfect
Circle, I also listen to Chimaira and Slayer.

17. writes:
Whoever says KoRn sucks, f*** you! People who call it metal or nu-metal all have to know that Korn has their own style, their own voice, their own everything!! They are pioneers in what they do.Why was Untouchables so bad??Listen to all the notes played and Jon's voice and all that other sh*t in that album, just because it isn't GRRR GRRR GRRR!!! like alot of other metal makes it sh*tty? Well than kiss my @ss!!Then everyone complains and b****es that they're not heavy anymore, and Korn brings out TALITM and you complain about some other little piece that doesn't belong or whatever. I consider myself a metalhead and I listen to some of the Cure and even some goth sh*t, is that a problem @ssholes? Korn hasn't lost it yet, they still bring out some good sh*t. Their best sh*t WAS in 1994-1996, but they still have it. And-for those of you who think Jon still crying over the same sh*t, F*CK OFF!!! You f*gets don't know what the f*ck he went through,so shut the f*ck up.Plus-I agree with the fact that some metal( Black, Death, etc) all have the same "GRRR GRRR GRRR " with bass blasts and the same old riffs over and over again. To each his own opinion, so here's mine @ssholes.

18. writes:
KoRn is the f*ckin' sh*t but f*ck Liknin Park and that whole hip-hoppy f*g trend that they all have. All songs are the same, they start with piano or some boring little sound, then Chester b****es, then the rapper tries to act black.FFFFFFFFFF*******CCCCCKKKKKK TTTHHHEEEEMMMM!!!!!!F*ck the Darkness and New Found Glory, Blink-182, Trapt, Good Charlotte ( especially reserve a place for them in hell sucking and shoving filthy c**k in their holes ) , ....................................I hope more agree with me that Korn still has it and that that Untouchables was unique in it's own goddamn way......................I hope Linkin Park reads this.

19. writes:
I'll agree, Untouchables was unique in it's own way. Jon once said in an interview that their original sound has been copied so much that they have to come up with new sounds to stay ahead of the pack. But personally, as a long time KoRn fan, Untouchables wasn't a good follow up to issues, it just didn't have a lot of the bite that the others had. But their follow up, TALITM definately shows that they've still got it. If it wasn't for "Alone I Break" mostly, Untouchables would be collecting a lot of dust in my cd collection. That song has the greatest lyrics and gives me hope when all hope is lost. I mean when I put Untouchables on I sing along and love it but then after the second listen it gets boring.
I didn't go to Projekt Revolution tour because I refuse to see KoRn degraded like that. Granted it's Linkin Park's tour, but come on, show ur respect. If it wasn't for KoRn, they would be flipping burgers right now. Before I get B**ched at, granted there were the deftones and other pioneering bands, but KoRn was definately one of them.

20. writes:
Personally I think all of you that have nothing better to do than sit on ur d@nm computers and fight about "real metal" should get a life! I mean seriously how juvinile are you to fight with someone over AOL about something as dumb as that. Everyone has different concepts as to what real metal is so let's leave it at that and stop being so f-ckin queer. Who cares who likes what....what are you gonna do find em and beat their @sses for sayin' their opinion?! Bottom line find something more constructive to do with ur time!

21. writes:
You are so motherf**king right K. Why the hell aresome of you fools wastimg time and you energy telling people what real metal is. I know majority of you don't like nu-metal, but I do. I'm not trying to advocate linkin park because they are f**king up, but my suggestion is don't waste yourself trying to post negative $#!t and telling what types of metal there are. Hell I know nu-metal is not good to most of you people, but hell at least IT IS METAL AND IT BEATS LISTENING TO ALL THESE POP BANDS AND ALL OF THAT OTHER GAY $#!T.

25. writes:
most of you are haggard pieces of s--t , you aint open minded at all i hate linkin log park but i dont care if they do a songi just wont listen to it, and i left when they came on stage, i love korn, but like plenty different music than that like Ween and s--t. korn has always been hip hop influenced, and all of them even enjoy rap.just let them do their thing and go on tour with who they want, leave or dont listen when needed

26. writes:
KoRn does have hip hop influences but I hate when they get categorized as rap-metal, cuz they are soooo far from that. My take on music is as long as I like it, I could care less if everyone else I know doesn't. Not a lot of my friends like Motley Crue and I love that band. Doesn't stop me from listening to them.

33. writes:
The Pink Floyd cover was great. The only flaw with it is the vocals. Jon has been focusing a lot on his singing voice. Like if you hear the first cd his vocals were very raw, untrained, and added to the tone of the music. Nowadays it seems like he's trying to actually sing and as much as he has a decent voice, it seems apparent that he tries to hard. Listen to the original version of "Alive" and the remake of it on Take A Look In The Mirror.
Oh and Metallica is DONE. I wonder what they were thinking when they made St. Anger. They should have ended on a somewhat high note instead of putting out that album and proving that they are washed up.

37. writes:
Listen to Korn's first album....then pop in issues or listen to "word up" and tell me the new stuff doesn't suck. This is what happened: Davis used to be the guest in the band...just singing over what Korn already had wrote. It was raw, original music spawned from bordom and love of metal. Now Davis controls it and tries to sing and write guitar. Jon Davis was the worst thing to ever happen to Korn. Hes corny, self-absorbed and fake. Sorry Korn fans. They are now a pop band. (which is ok, everyone needs money, just don't ask me to listen to them)
btw...i absolutely love Korn's first and second albums

40. writes:
Issues was a great cd. As for Word Up sounding pop, it was originally a pop song. The adidas video was played on mtv, so what are you gunna say next, that song is pop. I hate mtv as much as everyone else and yes I hate when great bands are played on it, but KoRn is a big name now, so when a new cd comes out, of course they would be played on mtv. Here To Stay was on TRL and that is def heavier than Freak On A Leash.

TO: Ashley and A Linkin Park Fan----
maybe if you took some time to realize as a 13 year old you should not be using such
harsh language. also you should realize that most of us have listened to linkin park
and have decided that we as human beings do not have to conform to your preppy
teen standards of "whatever is in style" and etc.
We are not making fun of them for "no reason" as you stated. we are letting out
our opinions, so i would appreciate it if you would think before you write something
to us complaining that "we are asswipes" because we don't listen to what you listen
to!!! LET ME SAY THIS!;
i actually have a copy of Hybrid Theory. yeah it's a good album for that genre
and all. just because they have one album doesn't mean the rest of them are good!!!
sure korn may getting a little washed out but linkin park were sundried and packed in
a hypothermical capsule so they wouldn't harm society but someone let them out.
BIG MISTAKE!!
and did you know that Chester, like Jonathan, was molested as a child??
so they both sing music for people with "sucky lives". i hope now that you have
that information that you would kindly apologize for making a typographical and
mental error. and i conclude with...
anyone who is white, or asian or any other race, who is pretending to rap,
is somehow mentally thinking that they are black.
NOTE: I don't listen to rap but i know enough about it to know that.
and i also have a few black friends, and from their opinions, they don't like it
either. so now you have both sides.

54. writes:
I STILL DON'T CARE. FOR ME, LINKIN PARK SUX. I LIKED KORN BUT NOW I ONLY LISTEN TO THEIR OLD ALBUMS. ALSO, LINKIN PARK LOOKS VERY NERDY FOR ME. THEY LOOK LIKE MALNOURISHED.THEIR SONGS SOUND THE BECAUSE THEIR STYLE IS ALWAYS THE SAME. LOOK AT THEIR LYRICS AND LENGHT.SOME ARE ONLY LONGER. CHESTER IS ALSO FOR ME ONE OF THE WORST SCREAMERS ALONG WITH FRED DURST. JON SCREAM BETTER IN THEIR 1ST 2 ALBUMS. COREY IS THE BEST VOCALIST AND SCREAMER FOR ME. SLIPKNOT RULEZ. I HOPE KORN CHANGES THEIR SOUND BECAUSE THEY SOUND SH*TY FOR ME. THEIR OLD SOUND WAS THE BEST.
[STAY sic MAGGOTS]

i noticed that there was about a 2minute to 6 minute difference between Ashley's
comments and your comments so either you are both the same person or
you had your friend go on so you could "chat'' in here. i'll admit, i don't know your
age but Ashley had mentioned hers and if you were one in the same that would
make you 13.
but now that you have mentioned it.... how old are you??

57. writes:
No matter which way you look at it, a linkin park fan in general, not even the actual person posting, stands no chance on a KoRn board. As for Marlon Brando's post, Corey has a great voice and all but what were they thinkin with that new cd. It's not a bad cd, I'll give them that. BUT, in terms of them being a band that was all about sticking to their guns, it's horrible. It took quite a lot of listens for it to grow on me.
As for great singers, I'd have to go with Lajon or Aaron over Corey.

58. writes:
heres what i have to say to an earlier comment made by dark - calibur, your views on black and death metal are very ignorant and its very obvious you have never given any effort in trying to enjoy that type of music. listen to opeth, into eternity, emperor, dark tranquility, the crown, and newer vital remains. it really annoys me when people like to judge music without understanding or even hearing it. to each his own but f***ing christ dont talk about something your obviously not enlightened about. and another thing realmetalfan, no one gives a flying f*** what the hell you listen to. shut the f*** up you stupid c***. since when is as i lay dying metal you pop punk piece of sh**

60. writes:
Opeth is the only death metal band I like because of their acoustic side which is just f***in awesome. All the other death metal which Ive heard like Suffocation,Cryptopsy,The Berzerker,ect.... have all been pretty anoying to me.All their vocals sound like they were made by some non human taking a sh**.Horrible.I'll watch Sesame Street if I want to hear those kind of vocals.Cookie Monster sounds just like those asses.Black Metal, cant stand that either.Ive tried opening my mind to it,and I didnt like it.Im sure Dark-Calibur feels the same way.

61. writes:
now see, if sesame street ever ended (which i doubt would happen)
Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster can start a band, probably called
something like Toxic Chocolate or Oatmeal's Nightmare.
Count the Count on the other hand will most likely join Type O Negative
and Big Bird, whose cousin is in Hatebeak, hahaha, will be Alice Cooper's
roadie until they run out of chickens.
oh yeah and Greg Maddux got his 300th win!!! YEAH!!!!! GO CUBS!!!!

62. writes:
My friend actually sent me a link to a "band" called Caninus. It was a link on the most precious blood site and it was like hardcore music set to two pitbulls, I believe, just barking and growling. They sounded better than half of the singers that are out there now.

64. writes:
i'm 17. I am a Chicago Cubs fan. and i review albums for a "living".
I know lots about linkin park, i listen to them, i like and

everything about them, but who wants to? does anyone other than your spouse,
need to know all that information??

had a black metal it would be cool(HA! HA! HA!)

you d*$k heads bagging out korn saying you don't like them, saying your metal fans and saying korn aren't metal.....then why the f@#k are you reading up on korn and listening to there music for... if you like metal, you like metal, but don't bag out bands because unless you have success like these bands have then you don't warrant bagging out the bands, if you remember korn won the grammy for best metal preformance for "Here to stay" therefore from that we can conclude that korn are metal, they might not be the kind of metal known as death metal or hardcore metal but they're still a form of metal... they're the rich ones and your the sad people that have to bag out people for there success.....and if you go by success then korn are well up there..... they've been around for more then a decade sold millions of albums and actually have enough telant that they can sell more then a hand full of albums and go down in history as a band that had success...... realmetalfan you're pulling yourself too much in the shower mate.......i'm refering back to(3/68) Aug 2, 2004 @ 2:31 PM ET, by realmetalfan, saying how can you write a song like Y'all want a single, first of all i'd like you to write a single that people would want to listen to, second of all the song is about how unfair the music industry is to bands like korn who don't write mainstream music and don't get air time on radio's, etc, which i'm sure in your "big man" list of unheard of bands you would like to see thoes bands have a bit of success..... now i've seen many many bands at concerts and i've found crowd response is by far the best at a korn concert.....they're talented musicians who can sell albums and have become rich because of it..... so realmetalfan the day you write your own music and sell millions of records is the day you have the right to bag out a band of the talent of korn....... now for little joe about the comment on 37/68) Aug 6, 2004 @ 11:29 AM ET, by Joe....you should of researched before you start spinning your sh#t.... before jon davis came along korn had not much success not just that but they weren't even known as korn, they were on the verge of quiting and found jon davis.....now from the very first cd through to now he has either written or had a big hand in writting the lyrics of there songs, except of course for any covers.... now judging by what i've read about korn and most bands in the world lyrics are good percent of the time written after the music..... and if you realised another thing korn keep changing there music and sounnd so they don't sound the same as all other bands... now if their pop, because they were on mtv then you're saying Metallica are pop, who by the way are just the stand alone pioneer "METAL" band of the eighties, and fair enough they're not as good as they use to be and have changed but if bands continued to release stuff like they're "old stuff" then they would sound repeditive and people would start complaining about how their favourite band or favourite band to hate, sound the same......all their trying to do is keep fans interested and the only way to do that is by sounding unique, when it comes to metal.... also don't you think if jon davis ran the band then the rest of the band would just quite...i'm sure they'd have enough money now to not require to keep playing but they do cos they love it....he's the led singer and in every band the lead singer is always the most commonly heard about.... so i'll leave it at that.........one last comment though........ i'm an Australian and we have a nick name for American's, obviously this doesn't count for every American, just the few narrow minded people like you two lads.... that nick name is Sepo's.......basically it means you speak sh*t and are full of sh*t..... and in case you don't know why sepo's means that, it's short for septic tank..... i haven't read all the posts on here so if other people have had a go at the two lads then sorry for more

70. writes:
I think korn our the best band going but that is my opinion,Jonathan has an unique voice and every song korn has bought out are totally different like most music sounds the same, there lyrics are true meaning something that everyone can relate to and to sing about his past life must have been hard for him,i dont understand why poeple are pulling jonatahn/korn down if you dont like them then dont listen to them but dont need to say bad things about there music because there songs are great,i havent heard the cover songs of greatest hits so i cant say about them but every artist has a bad song, korn will keep going and makeing great music.Huge korn fan

Well put davidjones and leela. I never understood y people who hate KoRn continue to read up on them. It would be like me reading up on Dave Matthews Band. I think it's just so they can say to themselves hey another sh**ty song is on the radio. But while I'm out watching KoRn live in support of the album I'll know y I never gave up on the band. Eh, it's their loss.

72. writes:
You know, there was one question that always boggled my mind and maybe you KoRn haters can clarify for me. Ones who used to like them, not ones who have always hated them.
But aside from them not really sounding like their first two albums, what is it that turned old KoRn fans away. I've been a fan since 95 and I still see no reason to give up on them. I didn't really like untouchables like I've said in a previous post. I still saw them live three times that year in support of that album.

75. writes:
to david jones, the aussie- the grammys really don't matter, it's a joke.
it's a bunch of morons sitting in a room listening to albums and saying which
one is the best one.but in fact, everyone likes something different.
let's say a fan heard that Metallica won the award for "best Metal Album" (pick an album,
this is hypothetical) and that fan thought "oh, i wish Coal Chamber would have won
that award instead". but like the grammy council is gonna listen to the fans.
The point is that everyone will think that a different album from the catergory should
have won. you think that, i think that.

I don't care if a band is real or fake If they have good music, I will listen to them. I am not writing this message to provoke you or anything, I am just trying to tell you there is no real or fake metal. metal is metal.
to davidjones
don't write a repetitious paragraph, I don't have time to read all of that.
oh and one more thing some hardcore and hard rock MAY count as metal.

Ok, I wish Linkin Park will stop butchering great songs, first they killed my own summer on their first Projekt Revolution tour, and now this. This was from a news posting, on mtv.com,
One of the best-sounding songs during the band's August 3 set in Wantagh, New York, was something much of the crowd was unfamiliar with. "This is the first day of my last days," sang Chester Bennington over clicking samples, before a torrent of guitars and a hailstorm beat cut through the arena. The thrashy industrial number was a cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Wish" from their 1992 EP Broken. It was the first time Linkin Park played the tune in North America, but it definitely won't be the last.

it's official, i am not listening to any covers by them or korn.
WHY?? That was a good song. i hope they aren't putting it on an album.
i'll ban it from the FMXTREME!!!!!

alright im done here all i got to say is that korn is awesome..if you like em rock on if not...thats cool too...but theres not need to keep dissin ppl or bands bc you don like them...in my opinion korn has had one of the most influencial effects in music in a long time..not many bands can say that theve been around for more then ten years and are still rockin out hard....i have a lot of respect for the band..no matter what they come out with next....ive been a fan of theres since the begining and i like them just as much if not more then i did since then...music is a f***in art and if a band feels like doin something out of the standards that they have been come to be know by...let them...if every cd by a band sounded exactly the same...it would be no fun to listen to. thats one awesome thing about korn..each cd has its own unique sound and feel to it...its not all the same like alot of bands sound like. i think this cover they did is actually pretty good...and i could care less if sounds nothin like how korn "used to sound"

I never said anything about the KoRn covers. I love the band and I'm happy I finally get to hear more covers from them.
Ok, I'll admit I overexaggerated in my last post. LP didn't actually butcher My Own Summer, but it definately could have been a lot better. So I don't know what to think of the NIN one, but for now the outlook isn't so good. I'm always one to listen to something I bash before hearing, cuz I can see whether or not I was wrong. So I will listen to the cover if it ever made it's way on the internet. I'll admit I was wrong if I did bash it and it was good. That's just the way I am. I never really heard a lot of slipknot when they came out but I was like eh I don't care for them. I judged just based on the whole wearing masks thing. Then I sat there and listened to the self titled cd and it blew me away.
Call me a hypocrite, call me what you will. That's just how I am.

all of you righteous assclowns need to get the f*** over it. firstly, you can hardly judge a song based on a sh**ty ripped radio-version of it. It didn't quite hit the spot for me either, but I'll wait till I hear a proper version.
Insulting someone's taste is music is out and out retarded.

But can anyone take abuse from a linkin park fan who uses nothing but caps and all her opinions about linkin park are pretty much why alot of people hate them. She didnt give any valid reason to why korn suck, and didnt give any valid reason to why linkin park are good. Can anyone give a reason to why linkin park are good and why korn suck?

Manson is great. Portrait was a good cd. However, after portrait, they kinda went in a totally different route, and for the most part every manson cd has been different but good nonetheless. Well, Mechnanical Animals was ok. The Golden Age of Grotesque def has a KMFDM influence on it, with Tim Skold on bass and all. Aside from Antichrist Superstar, Holy Wood is an amazing cd. Manson's acoustic is really good.

ive been reading these posts since last week when korn's word up came out and i dl it here. i have a question for all of you that have ur negative comments and korn and linkin park. have any of u been to the project revolution tour? i must say as a #1 korn fan i had my doubts about L.P. but man when they came out after korn- they threw down. they did a cover of wish by NIN and that song was so hard-unbelievably hard. i give crazy props to chester and L.P and obviously i thought korn rocked, but if u havent been to the tour u should dl the proj. rev. sampler on korn.com to see 4 urself- i think ud b suprised. =) P.S jon and chester throw down together on stage when their bands come up- so go to the tour.

288. writes:
no, i haven't been to that tour, but have had the experience of
seeing both bands on separate occasions. LP sucked and Korn was ok.
i wish that LP and Korn will stop covering NIN songs. Wish is an unbelievably
hard song on its own, without LP.
and i'll have to agree with KMADD, they threw all their s**t at you.

292. writes:
what do u mean throw their sh** at me? like they sucked ...? man i i dont care, i thought it was pretty rowdy but the best pit was for "right now" and and "yall want a single" i guess i just just like all the heavy riffs and hip-hop influences in it?? i just didnt know that chester could scream as loud as he did when preforming that song- but i agree that wish is better in original form. the used were better than i thought they would b live too. o well rock on. ps pink floyd's "another brick in the wall" sounds very good as a korn cover, especially live- dl it here too.

dude-personally i enjoyed ozzfest, not quite as much as previous years, but just so u know a magazine(i believe it was blender but im not sure) composed a poll of ozzfest goers comments on the show and most had the reply that its been better and some said they were dissapointed in it!! if u even listen to any kind of rock- u should have loved ozzfest this year, hell- every year. its a bunch of rock groups jammin on 1 bill, what could be better?! i felt the 2 stage owned, but it usually does n e ways specially w/ groups like otep and slipknot on it-was godforbid 2stage too? o well yes ozzfest is obviously going to be better just due the fact that they have more bad a$$ groups- but proj rev was still a rush!! RoCk on

296. writes:
KMADD - Who is X that you are talking about?
As for Ozzfest this yr, I didn't go but wanted to go primarily for the second stage. Don't get me wrong though Judas Priest and Black Sabbath are great. I never was a Slayer fan. I wanted to go mostly for Lamb of God, Slipknot, and Every Time I Die. Although every band on the second stage is really good.
With the exception of this past Ozzfest, they throw the true metal bands of today on the second stage and the main stage has the big named bands. Musically, the second stage always blows the main stage away but the bands on the main stage are good as well.

Oh shiit I forgot about the mighty reformed Suffocation!! And so on!
