^ yes, it is a good song. AIC 2 is super tight live. Unfortunately, I never got to see Staley.
Not trying to gripe, but I wish they'd let Duvall loose a little bit more vocally. I know harmonizing is their thing, but does an entire harmonized track bother anyone else? Hoping Duvall leads a little more on the new album.

Good song but feels like I've already heard it from BGWTB. Probably will get the new album anyway though but I hope they do something different between albums. Not a perfect example but Dirt and Facelift both might sound like Alice in Chains but their was some sort of variance to where I can say they sound like different albums. Thats all I hope for from Hollow.

^you could definitely plug it into any track slot on BGWTB and it would flow. I get the feeling that they're trademarking this harmonizing sound (if that makes any since), but I've only heard one new track so I'll reserve judgment.
Worst case scenario, I still like it.

I've noticed this for a long time you guys. What you need to do is revamp the site, give it some juice. Put some more features into it, make our profiles better. This used to be my #1 place for comments, metal news, and just surfing on and finding new bands. Now, things have changed.... Now i go to metalstorm.net where they give u the ability to vote on albums, catalog your collections, review music, add bands, lots of sh**.

2 years ago, metalunderground was responsible for 90% of my metal news. Metalstorm a measly 10%.
Today, I use Metalstorm 80% of the time and MU 20%, and its because of the reasons listed above. and im not the only one who has moved onto other sites. 3 friends i have on facebook i met on here, and they dont come here anymore either....
Redo your layout, add features, its the only way to come back and be relevant again.

i thought the track was great. not amazing, but great. Other tracks should be better, and singh is obviously having a mild stroke. Can't type right, judges whole albums from one song, wait isnt that every other fool that likes only 1 song on an album then say "I LOVE THAT BAND!! lol

Yeah, this is a good song and makes me look forward to a new album.
btbamfav20, fair enough. I haven't checked out MetalStorm in several years. Guess I should. I've got some stuff in the works for a while and need to spend some time to wrap it up. Keep checking back and hopefully you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the feedback.

Its fine...a little redundant, but not bad
I do agree Cozen, it would be nice to hear some liberty given to Duvalls vox...wished the same for stu block in iced earth...guess ya cant fvck with the grouchy old farts formulas eh? ;)
Fvck it, its fvckin good enough I guess...just glad the good ship Alice is sailing on in solid style \m/

Hey they laid down since laynes death and could have quit.
All haters I was a AIC when the first albume came out and I count Black Gives Way as my best in 10 year album. I say carry on. Layne would have wanted it to. Signed: Grouchy Old Fart that still rocks and drinks so pardon the mispelling. :)

Sounds like any other standard heavy Alice song. Nothing special but not lazy and boring like the new Soundgarden single or less aggressive and super pop sounding like the dumb Pearl Jam song, The Fixer.
I hear a lot less of Will and they sampled Layne for this. I'm sure they did cause you can hear him all over this.
Counting on there being some 2-3 good non-single songs and maybe less pop stuff like Your Decision. But you gotta sell to you're audience which is mostly the mainstream.

as huge AIC fan this song is really solid - any one who listens to Cantrells solo stuff will realize that he was foundation of AIC and can get those droney vocals to sound just like Layne - Really looking forward to the new album- check out Jerry Cantrells Degradation Trip album (it explains alot of the new AIC)
