Fear Factory is pleased to announce a U.S. headlining tour next month after dropping off the cancelled Shockwave Festival.

Set to commence on August 1st in Fresno, California, the next segment of the The World Industrialist Tour 2012 will pummel its way across the country and includes a stop at this year’s Juggalo Gathering in Cave In Rock, Illinois alongside Soulfly, Static X, DMX, Onyx, and George Clinton among others. Additional dates will be announced in the coming days.

Comments guitarist Dino Cazares: “We are really looking forward to getting back on tour to play classic Fear Factory songs and new songs from The Industrialist!”

This will mark the band’s first official trek in support of "The Industrialist," unleashed to North American fans June 5th via Candlelight Records. The second album written by Cazares and vocalist Burton C. Bell since reuniting in 2009 after a seven-year split, "The Industrialist" debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 chart at position 38 and maintained the #1 spot on the CMJ charts for three consecutive weeks.

I'm so embarassed for soulfly right now...having fred durst do guest vocals on the first album was bad but this is shameful...i hope max is getting a lot of money for this. Seriously....they used to play with Slayer, Pantera, and other good bands...WTF?
