Volbeat Comments On "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven" Album Going Gold

Volbeat singer Michael Poulsen has issued the following announcement about "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven" going gold in Germany:

"Gold status in Germany sounds pretty good to me. That’s a whole lotta CD’s, and these days it’s not an easy achievement. I’m really proud, and everyone in the band is happy about it, because particularly the German fans have supported Volbeat right from the beginning. Thank you people, you rock!"

The band is also touring Germany this summer with performances at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, and Full Force Festival, as well as several other venues in Europe. Details on the band's upcoming tour dates are available here.

Love these guys! Good for there success! Thinking about hitting up there Paradise show in Boston. The Social Distortion influence shines through these guys in a huge way. Which in my opinion is a good thing! Hell they should tour with Ness@ Social D!
