Ozzy Osbourne Confirmed For Wacken Open Air 2011

Heavy metal godfather Ozzy Osbourne has been confirmed for a headlining performance at next year's edition of Germany's famous Wacken Open Air festival. Ozzy will be headlining on thursday the 22nd of August, which is the first day of the event. Other bands confirmed for the festival so far include Suicidal Tendencies, Blind Guardian, Apocalyptica, Mayhem and Avantasia.

UPDATE... Saw Ozzy at Voodoo and he did really well. Connected very well with the crowd and played everything you wanted to hear. He did play "Scream" but, that was the only new stuff. Nothing off of No More Tears. Over all, glad I got to see it. Gus G. is the perfect pick for him. He did a great job and only messed up once or twice.
