Holy Rage Guitarist Chris Johnson Quits Due To Health Issues
Holy Rage, the band featuring original Judas Priest singer Al Atkins, has announced that guitarist Chris Johnson has had leave the band as a result of health issues. A message from the group reads as follows:
"Al's long time best friend and bandmate has been forced to quit Holy Rage due to ongoing health issues.
"Chris (Johnson, guitar) has appeared on three Holy Rage / Al Atkins albums and has been friends with Al for many years. He also appears on all tracks on the new Holy Rage CD.
"Chris himself is fine and having treatment and still likes a beer so he aint that bad. Although Chris will no longer be playing for the foreseeable future he will still be in charge of all band PR and the more technical side.
"We wish him well and a speedy recovery and I am sure we will go to a few bars soon."
