^although on the other hand you can get the Maggots/Slipknot thing. Whatever it is that connects a type of rope knot to the offspring of flies completely eludes me, but it is still, irregardless stupid.
I would just prefer to be called a fan of the band, rather than say, a droogie, or "part of the congregation" or whatever the hell else stupid label arises in the minds of ego-blown musicians.

Thats cool 16, keep on living the dream, being a sheep, and being like alot of christian music haters by saying F the music without any concrete rhyme or reason for your annimosity, other than you wanting to chyme in on a metal site and being a bad azz in front of others...typical
HORNS UP!!!!!!

You know they say about 1 in 12 children break away from their parents beliefs. That basically means that the majority of Christians are probably Christians simply and merely because their parents were. Definitely not sheep at all, I just can't see how you could conceivably come to such a cognitively carefree conclusion.
Now a Christian with Muslim parents, I can respect that kind of conviction.

Im at a loss...
Keep forgeting how many stereotypical, religon bashing, satanists are on this site...
I know christianity gets sh!t on the most in this genre, but to judge all as sheep is a bit shallow and bitter....i mean atleast go the marilyn manson route and blame your parents for attempting to brainwash you, i might have felt sorry for those crybabys..
I m not cramming christianity down the throats to anyone no matter what u 2 haters up there say, but the bashing, and the monday morning quarterbacking especially on a metal is cliche....quit crying

I'm with Psythe on this one. I grew up in a protestant home and am now agnostic. If you want to believe that's fine but the problem is, like Psythe said, so many people out there don't question whether or not the beliefs their parents believed and taught to their children is truth or not.

Im gonna leave with this 1 last scud...
I ll bet anyone all the money one has that 9 times out of 10 if you listen to a metal song, without knowing the artist or able to read the lyrics as you go along, that you couldnt tell which song was christian and which one wasnt....alot not all but alot of christian metal sounds identical to a regular metal song....its when the narrowminded ones see the word "christian" they freak, i mean whats the difference when your parents or some know it all judges that metal isnt music and its all the same or its the devils music? ....i mean its the same brilliant train of thought the PMRC, the grammys ala the jethro tull incident, and the judas priest suicide court crap case had....if an artist has talent, and if the song kicks azz, thats all that matters to me, christian or black metal or any genre of music........
I ll defend pretty much genre of metal, ( including black which i take it as halloween) and a person of faith til the day i die

Does anyone here hate these guys because they are christian metal or are they on the same page as myself and hate them because they suck? RTB you should think maybe that's the issue, because we think they just plain old suck and have differing opinions then you.

Curor guess what...im not a DH fan either, i was defending being judgmental to all christian metal, i can respect your disliking for the band, or any band for concrete reasoning, i have no problem with that....
Cynic you and i have had this conversation before, so your sarcasim and one liners were expected and predictable but layoff the big words will ya? You know us non members especially americans arent on the educated level that your on, so have a heart huh? ...thanks to you i have to google incongruence to see what it means

My point as usual was just that if you don't want people to be prejudice about Xtian metal then don't be prejudice about MU members beliefs.
Well I wanted to say hypocritical but it wouldn't have really been the correct word. So I went with something more vague, Incongruent = not in agreement.

12 yr.'s of catholic skool (most of it spent speaking out and questioning about/against what "they" were stuffing down our throats) and i like a few bands that r pretty good like DH and yet get bashed just kuz they're christian 0.o ummm... wtf?? my primary example will b of crouse one of my actual fav bands, ABR, who's christian but is probly one of the most brutal acts that i've ever had the honor of seeing nonetheless heard. and just fyi, abr = august burns red. oh and i can't wait to give the new DH a listen to. metal is quite possibly the ONLY genre of music that should stick together and yet it's the most segregated =\ it's just sad.

so all you people here, announcing your personal hatred toward demon hunter. thats fine and all but consider this: if they "suck" so much why isn't your band more popular than them? how come you don't travel the world playing music you have writtin...(and get paid for) i would say they are a lot better off then you. your probably sitting alone at home on your computer with your girlfriend...(aka your "right hand" jack off!) It doesn't matter if you like them or not. it dosn't matter if i like them or not. i doesn't matter if they are religious or not. what matters is people pay for thier music, and have been doing so enough that they are onto their 5th album. What do you all do? flip burgers at McDonalds?.. all while driving your moms mini van around? if you all don't like this band sooooo much then why do you even bother to even post on this page? do you have nothing better to do? and the guys who are duke'in out on this page why don't you become facebook friends or something and do that there so the rest of us don't have to endure it. My point being... "stop being a bunch of whiney douchebags"
to nothinghead= i love ABR one of my fav bands

gosh, how cliche is it these days for a band to say that their new album is "our heaviest yet most melodic project thus far"
