Metallica has issued the following update about adding more South American tour dates:

"As part of our ongoing effort to test your geography, we're back this morning to fill you in on four additional South American shows coming up in January of 2010. We cannot wait to head back to Argentina, Chile, and Brazil . . . ten years is waaaaay tooooo long as the last time we visited was in the spring of 1999. So we'll see you in Buenos Aries, Santiago, Porto Alegre, and Sao Paulo very soon!

January 21 - Buenos Aries, Argentina - River Plate Stadium - On Sale December 10
January 26 - Santiago, Chile - Club Hipico - On Sale November 24
January 28 - Porto Alegre, Brazil - Zequinha Stadium - On Sale December 3
January 30 - Sao Paulo, Brazil - Morumbi Stadium - On Sale December 1

"Met Club members should check here for information about special pre-sales. You guessed it . . . there are indeed a few more shows in the works in Latin America and Europe for the first part of next year. As always, keep checking here and we will let you know as soon as all the details are confirmed."
