It has been revealed that Evile bass player Mike Alexander, who tragically passed away on October 5th while the band was on tour in Sweden with Amon Amarth, died of a pulmonary embolism (blood clot on the lungs.) He was only 32 years old.
A fund has been set up to help benefit the family of Mike Alexander and you can make a donation by clicking here. British thrash metal band Seregon recently held a special benefit show in his honour and raised £1000 (roughly $1650) for the fund.

Amon Amarth dedicated their gig at the Koko in Camden to Evile as a memorial to Mike.
It was very moving as the entire place, packed to the hilt, chanted Evile's name during the dedication, lead by an equally moved Johan Hegg.
As everybody knew, it was their tour too and they should have been there.
Amon and Entombed played great shows and with a guest appearance by Perttu Kivilaasko of Apocalyptica joining the headliners for five songs, it was very memorable, and totally mental night!
