Arch Enemy has issued the following announcement about adding an additional Mexican tour date:

"Arch Enemy are delighted to announce a 2nd show in Mexico D.F. after the (rescheduled) first Mexico D.F. show has been sold out for months: 20-August - Mexico City, Mexico @ Circo Volador. The added 2nd Mexico D.F. show will take place: 23-August - Mexico City, Mexico @ Circo Volador.

"This event will see Arch Enemy playing a different ‘old school’ set, inspired by their upcoming studio release ‘The Root Of All Evil’ due in late September 2009. 'The Root Of All Evil' is a special release featuring a selection of completely re-recorded songs from the first three ARCH ENEMY albums, 'Black Earth', 'Stigmata' and 'Burning Bridges'. Note: The Monterrey, Mexico show has been moved up to a bigger venue: 22-August - Monterrey, Mexico @ UMA.

“Mexico, we are moving in, armed with a huge arsenal of heavy metal ammunition! It’s going to be a real challenge to add lots of new ‘old’ songs to our setlist – We have actually blocked more than 2 weeks for rehearsals for these 3 shows… We will go straight from the EU festivals into the rehearsal room, then headline Bloodstock Open Air, UK and fly straight on to Mexico. No rest, just the usual insanity!"
