i think they are one of the more respectful metalcore bands out there but it is all getting fairly repetitive as each album progresses..the formula for how each song is written pretty much stays the same..i much preferred jesse; 'alive or just breathing' was a pretty catchy album.
seriously megalomaniac please shut the f*** up you're getting on my nerves, you continually embarass yourself. what are you like 12 years old? slipknot are by no means a legendary band it's easy listening, irrelevant, easy to write sh**. i've seen them live and i've heard all of their albums, they are ok but by no means even closely comparable to the countless better metal bands out there.

i like some KsE but i do agree it's getting repetitive. as for adam d always hopping around and having a good time, what's wrong with that? dude is entertaining and that's what people want...a good entertaining show. hey Cozen...i'm pretty sure adam could outplay angus and easily not make it sound like the same goddamn 3 chord riff over the same goddamn 4/4 beat. sure KsE has tons of similar songs but AC/DC has been doing that for decades and people love them.

I have seen Killswitch twice and enjoyed each show. There is nothing wrong with Adam jumping around and acting like he does live. It adds a dynamic to the show. Now granted this band is not a mega favorite of mine (last album was very boring) but their show is something to see. Now a truly great band only needs to impress with their music. If the band members are standing still the whole time then that is fine. The music should be enough on its own. The ideal is when the music and the in-concert-show are both fantastic. It appears that while Killswitch are fun to watch with their jokes and all the music is dropping off the edge. I don't see a musical recovery from this band (the same goes for Shadows Fall).

I agree. They are a great band to watch. I saw them at their last show on their Canadian tour last year, and they were all so stoked to be done, but the show was still immensely entertaining. They all were having the most fun I've ever seen any band have on stage, and that energy transferred to the crowd, it was a great show. However, the music is all starting to sound the same.
