August Burns Red Announces New Album, "Constellations," Release Date
AUGUST BURNS RED, the Lancaster, PA-based metal quintet who scratched and clawed their way to the top of the heap in 2008, are preparing to release their third full-length, "Constellations," via Solid State Records on July 14. After a month in the studio with lauded producer Jason Suecof (SEVENDUST, ALL THAT REMAINS, GOD FORBID, TRIVIUM).
"We've been paying more attention to the dynamics of the songs," says guitarist and principle songwriter JB Brubaker of the new album. "We wanted the songs to breathe in certain places and explode in others." For anyone afraid that might mean AUGUST BURNS RED is mellowing out, Brubaker is quick to assuage fears: "I can say for sure that this record will definitely be as unrelenting as our previous ones, but at the same time it will also be more dynamically diverse."

i think ABR is OVERRATED rather then underrated. ill admit they have some sweet breakdowns and some catchy songs, but some are just... horrid. i can listen to only five songs at a time. ill get tired. the vocalist needs more dynamics and more lyrics. i get tired of the same lyric line goin over and over again.

ABR should be wayy more popular than they are!!
When I first heard Thrill Seeker, I was literally blown away!
They are amazing! I have seen them twice and im waiting till they play in my area to go again!
Jake is an amazing vocalist and he hugged me after they played!!
They are just amazing musicians and should be recognized a whole lot more!!!
