The 2009 Kings of Black Metal Festival will take place in Hessen, Germany on April 18th. Pre-sale tickets are available here. The bands confirmed for the festival are as follows:

Necro christos is good too. Their lyrics are in Latin, and add the Latin sound to their black metal. They do a great job at infuseing the two influances.

Sounds pretty cool, Germany Rocks, but it's expensive as hell, especially with the current value of the dollar being worth less than the local Euro. I loved Dark Funeral, until that new frontman came in and they stopped wearing corpsepaint and now they wear monster masks and it's like kiddie entertainment now. I am sure Nifelheim and Watain surely will not dissapoint. But there are other events like WOA (Wacken Open Air) and a few others that traditionally do not dissapoint.

The euro being high is a good thing, in that you now get more sterling for euro than ever before, and it is kicking a$$ right now. Its almost equal to the pound. Its something like 96.6 pence for 1 euro. and I'm 99% certain that the euro was always worth more than the dollar. Thats what I mean, my family live in the south of ireland and earn euro and now it has skyrocketed due to financial probs in britain.
