Now if only we could get the rest of the members to leave the band.....
Personally, they just lost the only thing they had going for them imo. Their guitarist has always made me perk up my ears evertime i hear them. then the rest of the band starts playing. uggghh. I hate deathcore pig-grunts, and I generally detest genre mixes anyway, so they didnt have a good first impression for me.
My main problem with this band, along with most deathcore, is the pig-grunt and bree-bree crap. I like hardcore sometimes, and I love death metal. sounds like it could work together right? Ok. Now let's ruin it by squealing through 30 percent of the song. Why? Why cant you just growl? or scream? Or just just plain sing for all i care, as long as it's not the pig-oink crap. That's why i hate this band broken face.

they revolutionized nothing. dont particularly like them at all. however, i do know that the guitarist that left wrote all their music...sucks for them. and anyone talking sh** about this band tell me who has written a straight up death metal record better than these guys in the last ten years.......oh and the vocalist doesnt do any pig squeals on the full length....so talk sh**, but know your stats kids

Let's see, Kill by Cannibal Corpse for sure. Anything by deicide in the past ten years. Nile with ithyphalic or however you spell it. Behemoth with both Demigod and The apostasy. Meshuggah and Opeth with their last releases for sure. Gojira's last two albums have been amazing. I can keep going. This is just the last two or so years of great releases really that I've listed. I can go even further. JFAC is ok at best, and overrated for sure imo.
and besides, how would I know that a full-length of theirs had no pig-squeals when I don't like them and wouldnt bother buying a single cd by them? All the songs I've heard by them use that retarted vocal style, so obviously, that's what my opinion of the band is based off of. I don't have to hear everything by them to hate them...

metalmayhem, grow a sack and get a Decapitated CD, if you still think there hasn't been a better death metal CD than these guys in the last ten years than get the new Kataklysm record and the new Krisiun disc. That sh** is way better than anything JFAC will do

I applaud the guitarist's decision. Going to school is in EVERY way a GOOD option. I haven't heard much of JFAC, so I can't really tell you whether I like them or not. I have heard good things about them though. But then, I also heard good things about Behind Crimson Eyes from some r-tard, so whatev. Worst singer in history, that band.

All of you who are talking sh** about jfac are basing your arguments off of their album: Doom. The band as a whole has matured as shown in Genesis. Theyve moved past the pig squeals and exaggerated hardcore breakdowns, and have shown through as a genuine deathcore/death metal band. They have great skill and variety in their writing, and you shouldnt be so immature as to chastise them just because you dont like their genre. f***in rock on Jfac, and good for you, Ravi.

Despised Icon and Waking the Cadaver are better then jfoc......at least i get to hear animals and insects, i especially love the crickets in Despised Icon....everyone needs a job nowadays and being able to branch out and let farm animals and insects sing on your record is admirable.
