Tom Morello Says Rage Against The Machine Has No Plan To Record In 2009
Billboard.com reports: With two albums out, more than 50 songs that have not yet been recorded and a world gone awry, Tom Morello plans to stay busy as the Nightwatchman for the foreseeable future.
But one project he won't be working on is a new album from Rage Against The Machine, which reformed in 2007 after a seven-year break.
"There are no plans for that," Morello tells Billboard. "We've had a wonderful year and a half of playing shows, and I don't see any reason to not play more shows. The thing is there's only so many hours in the musical day, and mine are very occupied right now."

I really like RATM but since hearing this I have given up on them ever doing legit touring or recording anything new,I think now more then ever would be a great time for them to do both so untell I hear they are legit touring meaning more then one or two dates or even gonna try to record something I could care less what their up to.

f*** sakes tommy.
You're a good guy, I like ya, but NO ONE is listening to your 'political'-folk BS.
How can you logically choose to strum on a wood box speaking words as opposed to the musical-awesomeness that you could be doing with RATM.
Think: speak politically in a song that no one is listening to, or speak politically [with RATM] that a song people will listen to 20 years later. NO Logic.
The only plausible defense here is that he has "50 unrecorded songs". WELL Tommy, let's divert your unrecorded ideas into RATM music.
