I saw Trivium with 36 Crazyfists and All that Remains in Green Bay about 2 months ago they have improved so much since when i saw them in 2007. Shogun is such an improvement, anyway Slipknot, Trivium, and Coheed & Cambria. Who the f*** thought that line up, it is always fun to be in a crowd have sh**ty bands like Coheed get bood off stage, hopefully bottled.

Definitely not dishing out money for this tour. This is an awful line-up. And since they're coming to the Allstate Arena, the cheap tickets will probably be around 45-50 and range to 80 or so. If there were bands that I liked replacing Coheed and Cambria and Trivium then I would think about it.

Johnny Boy: Sometimes it's both. If you are a band of good stature, you can request certain bands to go on tour with, or sometimes your managers will lump you in with the flavor of the month, or sometimes your record label will put a package together to do a whole bunch of promoting all at once. Alot of it comes down to money. The biggest draws at the biggest places equals the most money.

Haha very funny Metal Chick. Trivium are pop metal, and they did indeed take an awful lot from Slayer. And though I like Slipknot they are just not Gods. I don't agree with people who think they are complete crap but I do like most of the first three albums. However the new one was just ok all round - no particularly anthemish songs in it.

So why don't you get off your high horse and listen to some good music rather than popular crap that gets there solely by huge amounts of advertising. Try my profile for some decent bands if you wish.

At first, when i read this, I was like: What the hell? But then that brought me to the realization that this means trivi-gay wont be on the unholy alliance tour when slayer hits the states. So this is actually good news for me. :D

I do recall Slayer giving Trivium all kinds of praise... so saying Slayer and Trivium in the same sentence in a good way isnt farfetched at all

trivium is a great talented YOUNG band. they got signed at seventeen. maybe by a sh**ty label but then went to roadrunners at or before the age of twenty. i would really like to hear the reasons why people dont like trivium. see if they are a real musician or music enthusiasts opinion, or just another queer following the res. slipkont WAS a good band. first album sucked, iowa kicked ass, and subliminal verses had a few songs. coheed sucks. haha but this Could be a decent tour if trivium stops to focus that people payed good money to hear them play and not be egotistical a$$holes and just play for fun. i wold f***ing love to see lamb of god in concert. that is my closing sentence

The thing about music is what sounds good to one persons ear might not sound good to another. It would honestly be like me trying to tell people how great anchovies are.

I just don't understand why people don't like anchovies. I mean they just taste good. They go great with pizza. A wonderful compliment to green pepper and onion. I get pizza with anchovies almost every week. I think you are all just jumping on some "hate anchovy" train, and if you gave them a chance you would love them as much as I do. If you took the time to think for yourselves you'd order a pizza with anchovies right now and see how good they really are.

Probably sounds more sarcastic then I actually meant, but I think people can understand where I'm coming from. Music is all opinion, not a cut and dry, right or wrong scenario. We all like what we like or dislike what we dislike.
