Ted Nugent Sends New Book To Sarah Palin

Blabbermouth.net reports: Sarah Palin was the first name on Ted Nugent's list to receive an advance copy of "Ted, White & Blue: The Nugent Manifesto", comprised of 16 chapters on how to fix America. This week, the multi-platinum guitar icon, best-selling author and outspoken activist sent the book — due October 6 via Regnery Publishing — to Palin with a note in praise of the vice presidential nominee's "bold spirit."

Wrote Nugent: "We who live our American Dream by God, truth, logic, goodwill and decency, thank you for bringing such defiant common sense and self evident truth back to the GOP and politics."

A fellow hunter and outdoors enthusiast, Nugent concludes his note to Palin by saying: "We wish you Godspeed for the best hunting and fishing season of your life and pray to God almighty that you bring your bold spirit to the White House." (The full text of the note is below.)

Nugent describes his book as "brutal honesty and irrefutable evidence that the amazing quality American Dream that is my life is available to anyone willing to fight for rugged individualism and genuine independence by putting their heart and soul into being the very best that they can be, even when it is difficult and trying." He adds: "If a wild guitar player like me can be an asset to self, family, community, country, mankind and the good earth, nobody has an excuse to be a liability. Doing the right thing is ridiculously easy and always much more satisfying."

Complete letter from Ted Nugent to Sarah Palin:

Dear Governor Palin,

Please accept this copy of my new book, "Ted, White & Blue: The Nugent Manifesto" for you and your family. As a proud fellow American hunter, fisherman and lover of Alaska's soul cleansing magnificent Spirit of the Wild, we who live our American Dream by God, truth, logic, goodwill and decency, thank you for bringing such defiant common sense and self evident truth back to the GOP and politics. We wish you Godspeed for the best hunting and fishing season of your life and pray to God almighty that you bring your bold spirit to the White House.

Godbless,

American BloodBrothers, Ted Nugent and family

I'm not against guns, but I think they should be as closely regulated and controlled as possible so that idiot street gangs stop killing innocent bystanders. If it's a pain in the a$$ to get a gun, you're going to aim real hard for the other jackass in the blue bandanna. I don't have a problem with hunting (especially for food) or shooting at a range, but some people just shouldn't have wide access to weapons like that.

really, blaming her for her pregnant daughter, who the hell cares its her daughter not Palin herself, sometimes no matter how good the parent is, their kids will make mistake, sometimes big ones. And if they make strong laws against guns, people are going to find new ways to get guns anyways. And i highly doubt gun control will lower the murder rate, there are many other weapons people can use other then a gun if they really wanted to kill someone.

I completely agree that neither party will make no difference whatsoever when elected. However, bringing up Palin's pregnant teenage daughter is kind of awkward. So what....she wasnt in the sack telling her daughter she shouldnt do that at the time. Until we get a truly bipartisan leader (that being pres and vice pres from the two different parties) that will not gridlock the government, nothing will change. And it was not the Bush government that did this to the country. Every leader we have had for the last 25 years has contributed one way or another to our countries downfall. and to post 43, i say a true democracy is the most oppressive government of all unless fascism has set in, and communism in its purest form (without marxist philosophy involved) is the perfect form of government. Posing the question, what can any one individual do to make change?

Ted Nugent did the same thing with a 17 yr old.... convinced her parents to sign over gardianship to him and left to go on tour... but as I recall... he married her when she turned 18...!!
and if my memory isnt too far gone... Im thinkin Steven Tyler did the same thing with an underage girl back in the mid 70s..
Jerry lee Lewis dated and married his 13 yr old cousin back in the 50s...

In this day and age.... how many 14-17 yr olds arent having sex.?? So Palin's daughter got knocked up.... thats her own fault... not her mom's...!!

Oh, and Anarchist's Cookbook is right, in some ways. I don't think any party, once elected, is given the room to differentiate themselves too much from the decisions another would make - but some small decisions do matter, like pulling out of the war. And forming an alliance with other countries rather than sinking into a new cold war. The most lucritive situation for the people in power (who are already stupendously rich) is war. Those who want to stay in a war, or bring about a new one, have only money in mind. Pull out of the war and save the lives of troops... Stay in the war and let Americans die so that the rich can get richer... Hmmm... Not what I would call a 'difficult choice.'

On the 9/11 thing, I'm not sure whether that was an inside job or not. I think most of the evidence points to it being one though. I haven't really looked into it much though. The movie 'Zeitgeist' was the starting point of what little research I've done on the whole thing. If you ask me, though, America's perpetual need for war is becoming way too reminiscent of Orwell's '1984.'

This latest war on terror is an interesting one, though. Since there's no tangible enemy (ie the Vietnamese, or the Russians), there's not necessarily a clear-cut definition of the enemy and thus no clear-cut way of knowing when the enemy has been suppressed or destroyed. Basically, it's a potentially eternal war.

Oh yeah, and Necrophagist... (shrug)... Genghis Tron are doing it for me at the moment.

Sanchez, you may wish to leave before "America falls". We haven't fallen in over 200 years and probably won't any time soon. Healthy debate and difference of opinion help make this country the greatest in the world. Why else would our borders be flooded with people who actually want to be here? I think one of the reasons why other countries don't care for us is the fact that most of America is concerned about a pregnant teen rather than what's really importanat......like what the government is doing or not doing ti help its citizens.

Chicago has more Polish people than ANY city in the World other than Warsaw. There are entire neighborhoods filled with Europeans (Serbians, Croatians, Slavs) that can't speak English. I don't hear you saying a damn thing about them. Mexican immigrants are all over and you won't find any of them on wellfare because they work hard!
First, don't single out the Mexicans, if more American born people had their work ethic and drive this country would be better off.
Secondly, you aren't going to find any immigrants collecting unemployment, wellfare, or food stamps.
If you feel threatened work harder.

Yeah thats true, only because most of those immigrants cant collect unemployment, welfare or food stamps because they're illegal ...
So they end up going to the shelters and getting handouts... because they dont have to prove citizenship at those places...!!

How do I know this.?.. because my neighbor works at one of those shelters.. and she has to deal with those immigrants on a monthly basis...!!
And it just so happens that I live less than 20 miles from Postville, Iowa.... Yes, thats the place that made national headlines earlier this year, when INS raided the local meat processing plant and arrested almost 400 illegals...!!

I dont have a problem with anyone coming to the U.S.... as long as they do it legally... and they at least make an attempt to speak the f^cking English language...!! If they dont want to speak English they can stay in their own country..!!

Take a good look at yourself's. Every f***ing one of us is an immigrant! It's even absurd to not realize this! Whether you come from a European,Asian,African, or Latin background, keep in mind that the Native Americans were the first human species living in America. Then came a selfish bastard named "Christopher Columbus" claiming that he had discovered a "New World". It's complete bullsh**!!! Why don't they ever put the amount of Native Americans that were killed by Columbus in school books? You see, the American Culture is completely fed up with itself. It will perform the most sickening actions and will exclude every fact from it and insert lies that will just make them look better. For Example, WWI,WWII,Vietnam, & The War on Terror were manipulated by the U.S. just for their own good. Ok enough about war and more about decency. How can anyone be so f***ing cruel on another human being? Seriously...We as humans have to learn how to respect each other.

I don't see how judging people based on the way they look, speak,or think, will make you a better person? You know, it's natural for humans to like & dislike things. That is known as one's own opinion. Anger is a natural feeling as well. In addition, anger tends to turn over to physical violence. "Complete Madness" is what defines the modern human being. I'd say 95% of this world's population is drowning in Materialism & Commercialism. Reason being, our Government edits and moderates these sub-systems that make us think differently on other things. Please don't get me wrong people, I have nothing against any of you. And if I have offended you in any way, then I apologize. Although, you people should really investigate you recent actions and find out what's driving them. From what I see, worldwide governments are doing a hell of job keeping us occupied from knowing the truth.

Which is truly sad considering how far we came in the last 2000 years. Imagine what could have happened in the next 200 if you were to unite all.

Same thing implies to religion, war, etc...The clues are in front of your face but propaganda keeps you blinded with fear. People will regret the day they allowed their civil liberties be limited and sooner demolished. The U.S, Canada, & Mexico are already talking about uniting as one whole nation. There will be no more boarders, only one language will be sought up, one type of currency, and foremost, a new set of laws will emerge. Every document in these 3 nations will be set ablaze! Thus, New World Order will sweep the globe like a pile of dust. Don't believe me yet? Do some research then things will become more clear to you.

Wow, the amount of ignorance in this thread is freaking astounding. Did a single one of you even GO to college? or is this domain of the high school drop out? well i don't actually have room to quote every single erroneous and idiotic post, so Alec29 and Kalis_wrath this is for you.

First off the self-righteous & oppressive views on government, and its place in the private lives of its constituents ,that are held by Palin and Mcbush Jr. are a direct CONTRADICTION TO THE VIEWS ESPOUSED BY YOUR OWN FOUNDERS. they believed in small local governments that had no reason OR RIGHT to intrude in the lives of it's citizens except in extraordinary circumstances (like a natural disaster or war) Now you little Republican ditto-heads are sitting there happily throwing away every right and freedom that your ancestors PAID FOR IN BLOOD, all becuase you have allowed your fear of the evil "ARAB" to rob you of your common sense.

Now as for Immigration.... you freaking morons. the illegals coming into this country take the LOWEST PAID JOBS ON THE LADDER. they are dishwashers and garbage men. window washers and dry-cleaners. in other words they aren't taking your jobs.. they are taking the jobs YOU DON"T WANT. this combined with the fact that even though they are not paying "Taxes" (in other words they are not paying the income tax we all have to at the end of the year... but oh wait, that gets taken off every paycheck anyway...and ppl in this economic bracket tend to get money BACK when they do this, even if they are paid under the table, the get paid so much less than minimum wage it once again equals the same thing)

So in conclusion... you are fools. Fools for hating the ONE thing that set your country apart. Fools for throwing away something your parents, grandparents and great grandparents fought and died to protect. and you are Fools for doing all of this not for any sort of gain...but instead for the promise of gain that will never materialize.

Man, I just read through almost all the posts and COMPLETELY looked over the whole border jumping fiasco. Are you guys THAT f***ING STUPID. HAVE YOU EVER READ ONE OUNCE OF AMERICAN HISTORY IN YOUR ENTIRE LIVES?

Here, I will TRY and explain this as best as I possibly can for everyone here.

In the US of A there is ONE bank who prints money. The Federal Reserve. EVERY dollar printed by them is LOANED at interest. Basically, Every dollar produced is actually the dollar + a certain percent of debt based on that dollar. And because the Federal Reserve has a monopoly for the production of currency for the entire Unites States, and each dollar has immediate debt attached to it. Where does the government get the money to pay for the debt? THE FEDERAL RESERVE. But don't get me started on how phony American income tax is. Wait, maybe I will. The American Income Tax isn't legal and has never been passed through government. That's right, they lied, it s a fraudulent statement. If you examine the 16th amendment carefully you would find that a sufficient number of states never ratified that amendment. So where does all this income tax go to? In to the pockets of the owners of the PRIVATELY owned FEDERAL RESERVE.

Well, that was fun.

Now here we are again. The Federal Reserve has increased its printing of money (AT INTEREST) to help with government spending in the middle east. Who profits most from these wars? The Bankers. No one else.

But I will get into the bankers and their loaning in another political thread. :)

Good job.

Alec what makes your point any more valid than his. Sure you went to college. That's great, not many people accomplish that. But now think about it. When you were going through highschool and college did you get that magical 100% on every assignment? My guess is no (not trying to be a jackass, but odds are odds). Now think about it. Your teachers more than likely DIDN'T get 100% on every assignment they had when THEY were going to school either. So, apply this theory backwards throughout hundreds of years of teaching. Your college degree is worth diddly squat.

But that's completely besides the point.

I am in the process of learning Spanish so that I can earn more money, but English is and always will be my FIRST language.

The United States of America has no "official language". English is the most common yes, although Spanish is close, but that does not make it official. And I'm pretty sure the citizenship exam does come translated. I'd also like to point out that some prominent people in America today were either the result of parents who were illegal immigrants or were illegal immigrants themselves...Including a leading cancer researcher at Jons Hopkins, I believe. What the fvck is citizenship anyway? A number? An obligation to die for a cause I don't believe? Am I the devil if I don't cheer on USA in the Olympics? No! They're games! Hell, I can tell just from reading these posts on here. That is, unless you could find someone who isn't sucked in by all the bullsh** propoganda that flies around, but judging from a lot of the comments in this thread... good luck with that.

The fact of the matter, when it comes to politics, is you're never going to change the other person's mind. So unless you have some kind of aversion to maddeningly frustrating arguments that never end, find something else to talk about. ;P

Oh wait, you did! Illegal Immigration, now there's a knee-slapper for Metal Underground. Some of you have got some major animosity towards them. You're either extremely narrow-minded or ignorant. Possibly both. If illegal immigrants are so lazy, why are they doing the jobs that Americans are too lazy to do? The answer seems obvious to me. Do you feel the same way about your own citizens who are homeless? If not, then you are hypocrites, plain and simple.

Now, I'm not advocating illegal immigration, but some of you really need to stop and think long and hard about your opinions on the matter, and stop being so closed-minded to what other people have to say. Sometimes people other than you are right, or at least have a point that should not be ignored. Then again, that goes for pretty much everything, and closed-mindedness seems to be a staple around these parts.

In the meantime Bristo.Kali is not a racist.what she is is passionate in her beliefes yes but racist I doubt it.Don't get me wrong I don't believe in alot of her political view's(no idea why she likes that Evil Palin woman). But she does have a point.I 've been to Mexico,Jamaica & Trinidad.Everytime I go I gotta explaine that America is not the big party that they think it is thank's in large part to MTV & BET.Girl's are not constantly walking around in various stages of undress. We are not all romeing the street's drinking Crystal & Almondale. This country is not what alot of people think it is.It's not bad but it's far from perfect. If it were The KKK,Neo Nazi's & Millitia's would not be alowed to exist. And the federal government would have never considerd putting a man in jail just for getting a Blow Job on film back in the 70's.Yes the U.S. Has a long LONG WAY TO GO !!!! As far as the allegations of Palin abuse of power go, you don't think Bidden is doing that same thing only he is going way too far by his accuisations. It is also, if my memory serves right illegal to ask a spouse of the accused to testify in a court of law. As I have also said, Bush and McCain are two seperate people with only the Republican party in common. McCain has a long history of keeping to his word. Just examine his millitary backround.

That cops has to live with the stigma brought on by the publicity, when, if Palin's found guilty, did NOTHING wrong. However in Biden's case, that driver still killed his family, sober or drunk! Just because you aren't of voting age doesn't mean you don't have a valid opinion, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. I spoke out avidly about the kerry/bush election with my parents and friends, and nine times out of ten knew more about the candidates than people twice my age did.

"Oh yeah, I want to vote for the Dems, because I would rather pay 5 bucks a gallon, rather than do any off shore drilling or alternative energy sorces. NOT!"

LOL LOL Seriously? Do you know how much a) Drilling off shore for oil cost? b) Fighting a 200 BILLION dollar/year war in the middle east? LAUGH. MY GUESS, probably more than 200 billion a year.

The United States isn't running out of oil. They have just racked up SO MUCH f***ING DEBT that by taxing the sh** out of oil they think they will fix the economy. The only way they can prevent another great depression is by spending more money into the community. It happened before and history tends to repeat itself.

As far as illegal immigrants. They will NEVER bring down the U.S. economy. EVER. That theory is backed by NO evidence what so ever. There just isn't enough of them.

Also, what does it matter if he called the guy drunk when he wasn't. To me that doesn't really seem all that bad (yes he lied, but for all ANYBODY knows. He could have used that to his advantage and help bring an end to drunk driving or at least speak out about it more) compared to being investigated for abuse of power. Abuse of power as a governor, or abuse of power as a V.P.?

I would be much more open minded about the republicans but so far, no ones given me anything that is beneficial about them either than McCain is old and was a P.O.W. and hes friends with bush.

While you reply to this. Think about this little tidbit from my favourite documentary. It is rumored that the United States, if left in Iraq will begin to establish forward air bases to then move into Venezuela and Iran to purge the country for more oil. (In fact they have already established a few "Temporary" stations)

How about the fact that Sarah Palin's city of Wasilla where she was mayer actually charged rape victims for "rape kits" to collect evidence against the womens attackers? How about the fact that when she was pregnant (and knew that her unborn child has Down Syndrome) and her water broke during a speech in Texas she flew (against medical advice) on a 12 hour flight back to Alaska just because she didn't want her baby to be born in Texas? Sarah Palin has no sense of real morals at all. Nugent is even worse. I like a few of his songs but 90% of his catalogue is mediocre and generic sounding rock at best. Have you guys heard "Love Grenade"? that album is the epitome of boring.

Honestly, speaking as a woman, Rage, I would not be angry at being charged for a rape kit. Do you realise that atleast 50%, or more rapes are falsely reported? No, I am not kidding you at all. I knew a man that was falsely accused and convicted of rape by a psyco ex-girlfriend. Had that wench been asked for a single dollar for a rape kit would have left it be. I do not know if you are a male, but if you had make up sex with your girlfriend, you would not want her to turn around and call rape on you for free. The charge is simply there to keep from women from falsely reporting rape, and I support that. You can also get what is called "restation" for any financial dammages that occur due to a crime that is comited towards you.

I do know that is a seriouse nature for the men, Cynic. That is why I think women need to not just freely call rape on an innocent man. That to me is the worst crime someone can comit. A rape charge in America destroys a man's life. If guilty, then it is justice deserved, but if in the case of Richie, my old friend then it is devistating and un-deserved. I think that women who do not report their rapes are doing no good for them selfs, or society. If that man rapes again, and she never reported it is almost as guilty as the rapist.

I would also like to add a few things. I have done ALOT of reserch into foresic science and the stats there in. In America we have a huge back log of rape kits that have been submited by women. Like I said atleast 50 or more percent of them have been reported falsely, but get this: Even if all physical evidence points toward a man and woman having sex or rape, it does not tell the whole story. It is also very expensive to process a rape kit, and investigate a rape. Finger prints, dna has to be processed, and the entire scene has to be processed. That costs the tax payer money. Would not you want that woman to really mean it that she was raped?
