Band Photo: Nonpoint (?)
Nonpoint is sorry to announce the departure of longtime friend and guitar player, Andrew Goldman. Andy has decided to pursue interests outside the world of music, the entire band wish him nothing but success and happiness. Nonpoint has lined up a replacement and expect to have him make his debut on their next tour in October. Show dates for that run are expected to surface soon.
In other Nonpoint news, the band recently posted two new tracks from their latest release, "Vengeance," on their MySpace page.

You see, Andy wanted one thing Nonpoint couldn't give him. A good band that plays music worth listening to. Other than that "f*** that" song, I couldn't give a pigeon's uncle's a$$ tick about these guys. To find someone that matches his stage presence, they could just put a two-by-four onstage where he used to stand. Then after the show, let the ladies fight over him.

lol Crawford you friggin dumb bastard! nonpoint has a sh** load of killer songs not just one you monkey ass. "In the Air Tonight" "The Truth" "Mindtrip" "Bullet with a Name" "Alive and Kicking" "The Wreckoning" "Wake Up World" "March of War" and "Everybody Down" are all great songs that haven been decent hits for the band. and you obviously have never seen nonpoint live so ya shut up and in October go see these guys:)

No, mudvayne fan, that's wrong. You can't name every song they played when you saw them last week at the Bluebird Bar & Grill and act like they were all good songs. Even the "f*** that" song really didn't warrant purchasing the album it was on, let alone the next two. (What a dumbass I am. I actually paid money for them.) Not a decent note across three CDs. You go ahead and spend your hard earned $6 ($4 in advance) to go see these lame-os. I'll be doing something more fun. Like getting a root canal.

umm i saw nonpoint 2 yrs ago 1st off...2nd "f*** that" song what are you even talking about kid...what song is that anyways....and just like nothingface nonpoint are one of the good rare metal bands that are out right now. so your closed minded self can't see that then thats your problem and i feel sorry for you.

i only say ppl are closed minded when its really clear that they are... i mean look at the faggy crawford character..he doesn't like nothingface, nonpoint, head, or mudvayne and what do those bands all have in common? they are newer metal so i guess hey is one of those stubborn old school metal heads or a hardcore death metal fan that doesn't like anything besides screaming and growls.

Even if that's the case it doesn't make someone close-minded.. it just means that that person doesn't like the same music that you do. I'm very open-minded and personally, I don't care for most "nu-metal" like Nonpoint.. or "Head", or Nothingface. I like death metal and black metal, and classic rock. Not liking "nu-metal" doesn't make me close-minded at all.

whoa whoa whoa. who said I didn't like Mudvayne? For your info, I fxcking worship Mudvayne.
The Nonpoint song I'm talking about is "Victim", I think. I don't remember, as I've been trying to wash that CD out of my head ever since I paid $15 for the damn thing. Then I bought the next two albums at full price, as well. I might as well have bought a packof wooden coasters and saved myself some money.
And dude, if you saw my music collection (actual music, not mp3s) you'd shxt yourself. And as far as me not liking them because they're new, what about the Sword? Or what about Early Man? How about Killswitch Engage or the Mars Volta? I guess I'm not allowed to like any of them, since they're newer. So I better get to burnin' my things, eh?
Look, mudvaynefan, I was once like you, too. My ways were the only ways, and right wasn't right until I said so, but I've been humbled. I've found a lot of metal I'd have never heard of if it weren't for this site. (Isis, Cynic, etc.) I'm probably the least close-minded person you'll ever meet. On my iPod, Alicia Keys, Anti-Flag, Arch Enemy, Ashes Divide, and At The Gates, all right next to each other.
If you're really a Mudvayne fan, maybe you should listen to their lyrics a little bit closer, and take some advice. "Silenced" for example. Somewhere around the part where he says "Don't tell me what I need to feel."

The song is called "Victim"
Nonpoint has some good songs, they also have some really bad ones. Their 2nd disc was total crap. Last 2 discs had a couple good tracks, but I haven't bought anything from them since "Development". They will have no problem replacing the guitarist.
Nothingface isn't really nu-metal. I always considered the rap-rock bands to be nu-metal: saliva, pod, linkin park, papa roach, primer 55, slaves on dope.

This sucks!!!! I really thought that this band would last (with the original members). Hopefully they'll find someone that can match his stage presence. I dont think they'll have a problem.
