Metallica have posted a brand new, three-minute video clip online, which further documents the bands recording of their brand new album "Death Magnetic." Check it out below.

"Death Magnetic" will be the first set of new material from Metallica since 2003's controversial release, "St. Anger."

robert truillo playing flaminco guitar and showing it to james who then developes a heavy riff over top and then everyone makes fun of kirk for not being able to play it so he quits the band and shoots lars in a murder suicide love triangle kind of way. James and robert go off together into the sunset and end up playing Bonnaroo by themselves with 2 Disney anamatrionic lars and kirk's and still shred because they are the greatest band of all time. lol

lol, that was awesome.

Rob seems like he's a good fit for the band, his chops are well documented but it seems like his bandmates are still a bit surprised. I hope that riff makes the cut--acoustic and electric.

Metallica is one of the greatest thrash-metal bands and I can't wait until this new album comes out. I'm looking foward to adding this to my CD collection. The guys need to hurry up and tell us what day in September it's going to come out.....stop prolonging it LOL!! As far as Rob goes, I think he's a great bass player (that riff is poppin') and I believe James, Kirk, and Lars made the right decision when they chose him....St. Anger proved it.

at 1:02, all I could think was, "Godf***indamnit I want to hear this on an electric, this is f***in good".

Robert gives me hope for this actually. People say they can't recreate MOP, but maybe with them trying to recapture that essence, and Trujillo's fresh influence, something could come from this that Metallica fans can be proud of again...

I hope...
