Steve Perry will special guest as vocals, but no one will know when he sings and when the lead singer is singing.

I wish they would also put a count of how many times they say burning, storming, etc in their cd booklet.

Hahaha, I love this band. Guitar Hero!!!

I saw them live once, and contrary to popular belief it was a pretty sick show.

I'm with Necropolis on this. They may just as well be called JourneyForce.

They should have a battle between Gus G, Alexi and these guys and see how many nintendo noises they can come up with. Then market that to Nintendo as a soundtrack to the next video game. Oh and did I mention that Dragonforce traded their lead singer for Steve Perry for some cash, a late second rounder, and possible future considerations. (I heard it was backstage passes and a date with those chicks on the trampolines).

here's the album details for you, 8 incredibly annoying songs although technically proficient they still sound like muffled a$$ being played through a megaphone. surely only going to sell cd's to folks who think they're badass because they listen to "that amazing guitar hero band".

There was a list of the top 5 most unplanned funny albums of 2006 and Dragonforce got number 5. There was a word count of their most used words. Fire was at about 16 times not including repeats.

I've listened to Dragonforce since long before Guitar Hero came along, but I know what you're saying. A lot of people (more specifically: kids) are getting into bands (more specially: songs) because of their placement on a Guitar Hero game. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. It's either good because of increased exposure, or bad because of diluting the fan-base with "pseudo fans".

Personally, I like Dragonforce for how ridiculously over the top they are. I hope the new album doesn't disappoint. That's what most metal is all about in one way, shape or form anyway. I can see how some could find them distasteful, though.

Their songs all kinda run together on their cds, but they are badass live. Especially the keyboardist. He gets after it.

Damn right it's entertaining - even better that kids today are getting introduced to metal by an actual metal band.

Everything these guys do is over the top. From the length of their hair, to their cd booklets to their songs. Anytime you get a band that brings trampolenes to their venues and gets girls to jump on them while they play is hilarious. I know that all the songs sound the same, but how can you not just smile after listening to these guys? Their videos are hilarious. I respect them because they know who they are, and they aren't trying to be something they aren't.

I can tell just by reading the name of the songs that this album won't be very diffrent from the others...

Either way, chances are, this album will be quite enjoyable to listen for a few weeks or so. I just hope that Guitar hero 4 won't put a dragonforce song as the "hardest" song...

Good players in this band, but they try to play well beyond their means. Ever seen these guys live? They're really all over the place. That sh** must take a LOT of polishing in the studio to get it to sound as good as it does on the album.
