Korn frontman Jonathan Davis has been writing an opera entitled "Oblivion" with Richard Gibbs and Clive Barker, more on that can be found here. Korn will release their new untitled album through Virgin on July 31st.

Obviously you guys aren't true metal fans if you say that change isn't good. Orchestrial overtones are found in a lot of our now days metal- Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth just to name a couple. God you guys are ignorant. Brillance comes in all levels of music...

However, I think Dimmu have released a decent amount of interesting music from '99-present.
If anyone could write an opera with a background in metal it would be Christofer Johnsson of Therion, hands down.
