M. Shadows Talks About Upcomming DVD

Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows recently had the following to say regarding the bands forthcoming DVD outing "All Excess":
"This DVD has been 8 years in the making. We didn't want to cheat the fans by putting out a standard live DVD. Instead we wanted to focus on giving back to our fans by showing them what makes 5 best friends from Huntington Beach eat, sleep and breathe the Avenged Sevenfold lifestyle. This DVD shows everything from life backstage on the bus to some of the first shows in our hometown. We didn't leave anything off that fans have been asking about for all these years. Unlike cookie-cutter concert DVD's this is a documentary you can watch again and again for years to come."

I agree, stop wasting your time (and the people who read your posts) bashing the bands you hate. I love how people like to throw around the "emo" insult. Do you even know what it means? Does anyone know what it means? It means nothing now, kind of like the word "terrorist". But forget it, these guys are a great band and their newest effort, City of Evil, is awesome. If it is a show of what the band can do, they will be around for a long time. Oh, and by the way, if you are calling them sell-outs because the singing is all clean on the new album then you should check your facts before you insult. Their singer had to have throat surgery and he can't scream anymore. I sure hope the DVD isn't just clips of live performances mixed with random bullsh** clips of the band, I have no interest in that.

M. Shadows sounds like every recorded telephone operator I've ever heard! "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again" THAT ONE!
If you've never heard this I can help you get close. Hold your nose speak/sing loudly from the top of your throat (not your diaphragm). The more nasal and destressed you sound, the closer you are the Mr. Shadows...nothing wrong with that last name, no need to be embarrassed by it....

What I don't understand is how you can place a value on the time spent defending the band as more crucial than the seconds spent exposing their many flaws.
Opinions of every sort should be heard: positive or negative for every band. That is the point of these threads, deal with it.
Tell me why you don't think the vocals are grating. Justify the need for makeup and nail polish. Why doesn't his fake last name embarrass you?
