BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME have posted the following update:

This has been one of my favorite bands for the past 1 year and a half since I got into them. They are amazing and each album they have come out with has been awesome (even the album where its all cover songs). I can't wait for this release! The term they used discribing the new album "adult contemporary progressive death metal" should be enough for any metal head to be interested.

Actually, the falsettos on the first album were done by Will Goodyear (their original drummer).
I'm expecting this album to be like Pink Floyd meets Cannibal Corpse.
The covers album was decent. I loved their cover of Malpractice by Faith No More. Too bad the Metallica and Pantera covers weren't what I hoped they would be.

This has been my favorite band for over 2 years. I don't think any band holds up to them, except maybe The Faceless and Necrophagist, but even they can't touch the song making aspect. Anyways, even though I love these guys I understand that his singing isn't that great. "All Bodies" is my favorite song and he nerfs the chorus live everytime. He is mediocre, but without him it wouldn't be the same band.
