BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME have posted the following update:

“Well, we are done tracking our new record ‘Colors,’ and we couldn’t be happier…it was an amazing experience as always working with the mighty Jamie King, and we couldn’t thank him enough for being an amazing person and engineer/producer…we are currently mixing the record right now and will be done in the next week or so…the record will be released on September 18th through Victory Records. This record is nothing you’ve ever heard from us before…its a 65 minute opus of non stop pummeling beautiful music…we have described this release as ‘adult contemporary progressive death metal.’ We hope you have fun with it….more updates soon…we are doing a small two week tour with our amazing friends The Red Chord, Cephalic Carnage, and The End…Arise and Ruin are taking The End’s place on the Canadian dates…"

This has been one of my favorite bands for the past 1 year and a half since I got into them. They are amazing and each album they have come out with has been awesome (even the album where its all cover songs). I can't wait for this release! The term they used discribing the new album "adult contemporary progressive death metal" should be enough for any metal head to be interested.

are you serious? his singing sucks donkey nuts, it sounds like a whiney 14 year old. his growling isnt bad, its not great. maybe im just biased because of how bad his voice was on certain covers, like kick start my heart. but over all an amazing band.

Nice. I can't wait for this one. And the Pittsburgh show.

Actually, the falsettos on the first album were done by Will Goodyear (their original drummer).

I'm expecting this album to be like Pink Floyd meets Cannibal Corpse.

The covers album was decent. I loved their cover of Malpractice by Faith No More. Too bad the Metallica and Pantera covers weren't what I hoped they would be.

This has been my favorite band for over 2 years. I don't think any band holds up to them, except maybe The Faceless and Necrophagist, but even they can't touch the song making aspect. Anyways, even though I love these guys I understand that his singing isn't that great. "All Bodies" is my favorite song and he nerfs the chorus live everytime. He is mediocre, but without him it wouldn't be the same band.
