Audioslave Future Uncertain

Could Audioslave's time be coming to an end? In a recent interview with Launch Radio Networks, Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello stated that he isn't certain about the future of Audioslave or Rage Against The Machine, but he does know he'll be focusing on his current solo-project Nightwatchman. Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell has been in the studio recording for his own solo-project the last two months, while Bassist Tim Commerford and Drummer Brad Wilk have also been in the studio together recording some Bass/Drums only tracks.
Morello said that Cornell did not want to tour in support of Audioslave's third studio album, 'Revelations', which came out last Fall. He gave no indication of whether the band would record or tour again.
As previously reported, Audioslave members Tom Morello (guitar), Brad Wilk (drums), and Tim Commerford (bass) will be reuniting as Rage Against The Machine with Zack de la Rocha for this year's Coachella Festival on April 29th. Morello said he has not ruled out future Rage activities beyond the fest.

This just might prove that God exists. On my website http://www.angelfire.com/indie/thebastard , I made a comment about, to make a long rant short, how Audioslave should leave existence forever. I asked God, despite my obvious Agnosticism, to cut their fifteen minutes of fame brutally short, and he listened! I still hate Jesus, though.

Audioslave have actually had over 5 years of fame so far. I personally am a Chris Cornell fan, but I love audioslave as well. I wouldn't be tooo tooo devastated if they broke up, but it would be weird since I've been a fan for a while now and have been looking forward to a lot more music from them.
Oh, Jesus still loves you!

What the hell are you talking about??? Audioslave is by far the best band ever so stop throwing every bullsh** that comes to your not-so-much-developed brain!!!!!!! Audioslave and RATM can't and shouldn't even be compared!!!! The RATM is only screaming and some bad quality lyrics whereas Audioslave....every sane person should have already figured out that Audioslave is such a great honor for music!!!! Fantastic lyrics, fantastic music and a fantastic voice!!!! What else should anyone ask for???? Audioslave>Perfection!!!!

Of course people who -MUST- have vocal melody would like Audioslave more than Rage. It's more accessible....Easier.
Owning all the Rage albums, and the first Audioslave disc (and having listened to the other 2 lackluster Audioslave albums) I can say that RATM have and will always be percieved as more vital and compelling....Certainly alot more energy, purpose and direction.

AUDIOSLAVE SUCKS...PERIOD. Chirs Cornell should have stayed solo, and RATM should have never broke up. And for those who say RATM sucks...if they were never around, Audioslave would not be here, so you should appreciate them either way. I hope Rage records a new album and tours, that would be sick.

OUTSTANDING POINT, remembermetal?, to be a rage fan requires a certain mentallity, and sometimes you really have to LISTEN BETWEEN THE LINES with any ratm song, but pound for pound, audiolave could never hold a candle to rage, but that is just the opinion of .........HIMMM!!!!

That first Audioslave album was the best album I have ever heard period. There were so many great songs on that album. Great vocals, lyrics & guitar. That’s what happens when you get one of the greatest vocalists & one of the greatest guitarists ever playing together. What happened on the 3rd album though? It was not good & obviously, in retrospect, the beginning of the end.
