Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" To Be Released November 21?

RollingStone.com is reporting with a fair bit of skepticism that the extremely long-awaited Guns N' Roses album 'Chinese Democracy' has gotten a firm release date of November 21st at one retail source. Whether that turns out to be the actual release date remains to be seen, however, as it's not unheard of for retail chains to publish an estimated (or shot in the dark) release date on an item, especially as holiday shopping season begins.

this album won't come out until such a thing as a 'chinese democracy' even exists. set your alarm clocks to never boys and girls, its hopeless. why dont they just rename the damn thing "Never in your lifetime" or "Since the dawn of time" with the hit single "Broken Promises".

Of course this album is coming out. Axl wouldn't work as hard as he has over the past 2 years to not release the allbum, The hype is stronger than it has been in years. He's ready for the comeback. It will definitly be released this year...go and watch axl on youtube and see for yourself how he's doing and if he's ready for this comback...GNR IS BACK....f*** YA!!!!

the new gnr music will be sh**,but the lyrics will be good because axl is writing them.even though hes a great frontman that doesnt stop him from being an a$$hole.he got rid of all the talent that was in the band,like slash and izzy. simple, because axl's an a$$hole that has been promising the release of this album for more than a decade. be in denial all you want. go ahead and get your hopes up. just have a box of kleenex by your side on nov. 21 when the album is postponed due to 'internal conflict among other issues' and your fragile little heart is broken.

That same year, a cover version of The Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil was recorded by the band, joined by Paul Huge (replacing Gilby Clarke), for the movie Interview with the Vampire. Several members started up their side projects (such as Slash with Slash's Snakepit and Duff McKagan in the Neurotic Outsiders). In 1996, Slash quit the band, citing creative differences with Axl. Within the following year, Duff and Matt also left the band, which left Axl as the sole original member.

During 1995/1996, Axl Rose became excessively reclusive and paranoid in the recording studio. It was during this time that Guns N' Roses did a cover of the Rolling Stones song 'Sympathy for the Devil', which was featured on An Interview With A Vampire's soundtrack. Slash and numerous other GNR members all contributed musically to this song, however after the song was finished, Axl took it upon himself to heavily edit it, in some cases eliminating all contributions of some GNR members (such as Gilby Clarke). Slash was one of those who Axl took liberties on with this song, and this was the final straw for one Slash. Of course, Axl's demeanor and hostile attitude throughout GNR's existance was always hard to bear, but Slash was one of few who put up with it. Slash took exception to Axl tampering with his work and promptly quit the band. Axl had also gone as far as to edit out other band members work just so he could add the music of one of his close friends, Paul Huge. Axl did *not* consult any other band members before doing any of this.

We've allready heard mine.Don't you know you can't believe everything you see on the web.MTV new's Kurt Loder reported Slash being fired and that Slash was unaware of it when he was contacted for comment.He eventually called back stateing that he recieved a fax from Axl.confirmeing that he had in fact been kicked out.The only thing that was not confirmed about a reason is the possibilty that the Snake Pit project might have had something to do with it.It was a side project before he was removed from the band.It was not something that came after the fact.
Honestly I did not really get into the 1st Snake Pit album & as a result did not even bother with the second.In any event the only thing you've proven is that Axl & his publicist have been fairly busy discrediting the other Gunner's.
Like I saide We'll see if Axl can pull it off.Timeing is a big facter right now as far as how much this record sell's.With his unexplained delay's etc etc.Axl's alienated alot of the fan's(not to mention his former band mates).Then their's the fact that Axl is not GnR all by himself never was never will be(hence the real reason it's taken so long)I don't believe this disc is comeing in november we've herd this before & as if on quew here we go againe in 2006.
I've herd the song's that got leaked out.The music is rockin but I'm not terribly impressed with the lyric's.No matterv what you say he'll never recreate Appetite.Not with what he's working with.It's just not gonna happen.This should be referd to as AXL ROSE'S SOLO PROJECT not GUN'S N ROSES !!!!!! (15yrs to make one cd....WHATTHEf***EVER!!!!!!!!)The next thing you know your gonna try and tell us that Sebastion Bach is some kind of genious.More like Beavis to Axl's Butthead.

Hey think about this people, the gnr site is redone looking great, they started a fresh tour.....its pretty obvious they are gearing up for somthing.
