Possibly Hacked Head Site Reports Him Back In Korn?

Band Photo: Korn (?)
Metal Hammer reports that former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch's website may have been hacked into to contain the following message:
"Hi, everyone!! I've got good news for you!
"I've been speaking with Jon [Davis, KORN frontman] and Munk' [KORN guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer] about us and the split.. and finally I can say that I'm taking the right side of the stage again for our next KORN tour and album.
"I'm so excited!!
"I will post more later."
There have been no confirmations of the rumored return or hacking of Head's web site at this point.
Welch left KORN in February 2005, noting that his newfound Christianity made it impossible for him to continue to play KORN's music and live the band's lifestyle. Since leaving the band, Welch has spent considerable time working with members of the Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield, California, and has also been working on a solo album.

The guy is talented and creative-whether he's Christian, Jewish, Muslum or Toaist. For me, in the interview I read, it just seemed like he made a desperation move from on addiction to another. Anytime someone becomes that fanatical about anything-particularly post addiction/trauma, they usually just switch mask. I just hope he gets to the point where he realizes that his beliefs should be about his personal connection with the universe-not how much money he 'gives to God.' Any true Religion is about you and your understanding of the worlds around you and doesn't want your $$$.

f*** Head. If I was in Korn, I'd never let him back in. I'd tell him to go choke on a f***ing bible and pull his c*** out of Jesus's a$$hole. It's not like Head made Korn good anyways. Korn always sucked. Todd MacFarlane's awesome artistic skill couldn't even make Korn good. If Korn wants to be sweet, they should all quit the band and do something else with their lives because saying Korn needs to keep making music is like saying Metallica needs to cover Megadeth songs.

Toddd Mcfarlane AWESOME?!?!........Well that's one oppinion.I was allway's more into Mark Sylvestry John Burne George Perez Tim Vigil & Jim Lee.I've allway's liked the more realistic stuff as opposed to the more comical or comedic.(with the exception of the guy's who draw Omaha the Cat Dancer & XXXenophile. Can't remember thier names just now)To each his own I guess.
If I were to make a suggestion I would say check out Milo Manera (Click, Butter Scotch, The Art Of Spanking etc.)Or Paolo Serpieri(especially paolo the Druuna series is really killer).
Anyway if Head want's to come back they should let him.He probably misses his friend's.As long as he stay's true to his beliefs he can still be a rocker and effective band member. One does not and should not have anything to do with the other.

Well Korndog to be honest I've been reading comic's litterally since I was 2yrs old believe it or not.So I'm pretty familliar with every body from Will Eisner & Jack"king"Kirby to any body that's considerd hot right now.As far as Mcfarlane's concerned I've been reading his work since he was drawing a really obscure comic under Marvel's EPIC line back in the mid 80's called COYOTE.It was a good book althogh by no stretch of the imagenation for kid's.
At this point in his career his art style was very different in fact drasticaly so(much like Frank Miller's work changed after leaveing Marvel). After that entire line of comics was cancelled around 86.He dissapeard for a while and resurfaced drawing Spider Man.At that time I had not seen anything like what he was doing and this is in fact what he's doing now.I loved it.However at this time I was an art student in High School so I was seeing alot of other stuff. This is also about the same time Arther Adams came out with Long Shot.(eventually started drawing the X-men & New Mutant annual's along with another guy from england can't remember his name just now).
Don't get me wrong I like his work but trust me I've seen way better.Jim Lee's work on The Punisher & eventually the X-Men was revolutionary.Mark Sylvestry's run on the X-Men & eventually Wolverine was among the best illustration in the history of those book's(with the exception of Frank Millers 4 issue wolverine mini series)He's also responsible for what eventually became Witch Blade & the Darkness. Then we've got the old school talent's John Burn who also did great work on the second generation X-Men team(The Phoenix saga was his run on the book & that movie did not do him or the story justice)before he when't on to the Fantastic Four & The Hulk. Then George Perez who drew the 70's era Avengers before moveing on to D.C. where he made the NEW TEEN TITANS one of the greatest comic's ever in the 80's(this is where you get the 1st apperance of Death Stroke The Terminator) and don't even get me started on Frank Miller He's worked on Daredevil , Wolverine , Bat Man (dark knight return's series changed damn near everything about the Bat)& Spider Man,He created Elektra aswell as the Sin City series of book's which just had a hit movie based on them last year and 300 which is slated for release in late 2007.
Nothing against Todd but I just think he's a tad overated Comic book wise. The rest of his busenesses on the other hand. He get's major point's from me.His animation company is among the best in America and his line of toy's is outstanding. The real monsters series of statues is sweet(Vlad Teppesh,Elizabeth Bathory,Rasputin etc.)How many people have you ever heard of got rich by being a big kid.How About NOBODY.Like I saide I'm just not terribly impressed with his actual comic book work that's all.
As before I'll make a suggestion. Go onto to Google's Image search and look up the artist's I'v mentioned.(I don't know how old you are so be careful The Manara and Serpieri stuff is terribly graffic and not for kid's)I think you'll relly like what you see.Another artist you might be interested in is Simon Bissley. He's done a few album cover's for Danzig not to mention worked on book's like HEAVY METAL.Ounce againe be careful alot of his work is pretty graffic not to mention X-Rated like Serpieri and Manara & now that I think about it so is Tim Vigil's work.Tim Vigil is best known for his Satanic (but Bat Man /Wolverine cloned)Faust not to mention Web Witch. On that note If your 18 or older enjoy. Not that I could actually stop you if your under age.Just thought I'd let you know your options.

well, if he does or not, it prolly wont matter. I went to the family values tour yesterday pretty much just to see the Deftones, whom were great as usual, but i was suprised by one thing. Korn still puts on a good show, even without head. My plan was to dip out after a few songs, but they kept me there. It was a good show. After reading all message boards these last few years pretty much completely turn on Korn once they weren't "underground=cool" anymore, and i really turned to other music, i had pretty much lost enthusiasm for their music and assumed that most everybody else did too. That arena was packed, and i hadnt seen a crowd get that into a show in a long time, i was wrong. What can i say, i was impressed. I stayed for the whole 2 hour set, and the new stuff actually sounds suprisingly good live, considering i got bored with the new album after about 2 listens. I also noticed that that disease or whatever Jon has made him skinny again, it was like watching korn in the late 90's. Maybe Chino should get a blood disease, haha, as he's a bit stocky these days. I also think that the head banging rabbit guy is Corey Taylor, as he was jsut as short and had the same headbanging style and blonde hair. (too bad Stone Sour sucked...)

maybe i shouldnt have said "sucked", because it wasnt all that bad. They had enthusiasm, corey really tried to ge the audience jacked up, and they were a lot heavier live than i expected. They only played one ballad, the one everyone knows, but the other songs seemed rather similar and similarly paced. Heavy, but not too heavy, fast, but not too fast. I thought both Deftones and Korn outplayed them to a large degree, but maybe it was just that i am not as into them. i tried, it was just kinda "meh". not a knock against them, its just that in comparison to that "other" corey taylor band, the live show was rather vanilla.

33. writes:
Stone sour was awesome at family values, they were second best to korn.
And the head banging rabbit isnt corey taylor, hes at every show, theres even a horse guy, pig guy, and a phantom of the opera guy at every show korn does now. Which i think is pretty kool. KORN is the best live.
And "thisguy" shut the f*** up, you make no sense you 12 year old punk!!!

I hope Head is back in KoRn Cuz Head Fu**en Rules. But I still think KoRn is Kicka** with or without Head. But Like I said I hope Head is back with KoRn. KEEP KORN ALIVE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suprised to see azazel has changed his mind on korn .... well my take on the whole thing is that head was to weak of a musician to make it on his own so he went crawling back to korn.
And i wonder if head really re-joins korn weather or not he'll recant his chrtistianity .... now lets see if he does it will make him seem like a fraud and is he does'nt it will make korn look like abunch of posers for having anti-christian views but then having a devoute christian in the band ...
It seems like a lose lose situation if head rejoins korn.

When I heard that Head was back in KoRn I got so happy. But when I checked Heads website it sayed that it was not true and that someone had hacked into his website and put that. Whoever did that, that was not right and not fu**ing funny. That was just straight out wrong.

Wow....Talk about an aboutface, still a rumor though.
Won't matter if he is there or not, given Korns creative direction these days.
