Can't believe this shows been running strong since I was in third grade....
I'm not nearly the fan I was even 7 or 8 years ago...but I have to admit Homer has said and done some of the funniest things in television history.
As for Metallica being on the show...meh..

man, the newer episodes of the simpsons are terrible compared to the good old ones. maybe my sense of humour just grew up. and to reiterate, I'm pretty sure simpsons guests don't actually have funny lines. That'd make them look cooler than the simpsons. can't have that, can we?

I know Im all ashiver to here Lars on the receiving end of Homers rather large bonepole. While James adds tickly fingers to Homers nutsac. While Kirk plays porn music on his very own instrument. And, for a bassist to join one of the sh**tiest bands in the world, like the new fellow did, you just know he's in it for the money. Im sure the Simpsons are all excited too. I know Bart is a huge fan. And Marge, well sh**, she's done Lars so many times, he gave her a drumstick. Funny guy that Lars.
