Korn Frontman Jonathan Davis Released From U.K. Hospital

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis has been released from a London hospital, where he has been treated over the past four days for the blood ailment immune thrombocytopenic purpura. As previously reported, Korn was forced to scrap its remaining European tour dates while David recovers.
"The doctors have determined that this was an isolated incident and that after a few weeks my recovery will be complete," Davis says in a statement. "I will be ready to rock on the Family Values tour this summer."
That outing, with support from Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Dir en grey, kicks off July 27 in Virginia Beach, VA.

yah, Dir en grey should be so lucky to get invited on this tour. Considering most KoRn fans dont like them, or never even heard of them. I have listened to some of their krap, and it is horrible. I will be glad when they EXIT the stage and make room for the real talent!

Dude, if anyone interested you need to check these guys out...you would NOT be sorry!
REMEMBERING NEVER and THE ACACIA STRAIN.
I've seen these bands live and OMG, I thought I would not make it out alive. That pit was deadly. All I have to say is COMBAT/HARDCORE AT IT'S FINEST.
I'M STILL A KORN KID...

Personally, i didn't mind the movie. I don't think it was well done, I just think it was interestingly done. Not at all what I expected when I walked into that movie theatre, which is good, I like it when I'm surprised.
The soundtrack was ok. It was cool to hear vocalists singing away from their band, and trying to sing in a certain stylistic way. I don't think it was a great album, but it was fresh, and different for the most part, which I enjoyed. I still reckon the Underworld soundtracks (both) are amazing. I can NOT get over Puscifer, especially the song Rev:22:20. Excellent artistry there.

psythe- I've seen both Underworld movies at least a dozen times. I actually own the second one. Am I deaf? Cause I don't remember anything memorable about the music. I watched the music video on the second one by (watch me misspell the name) Autreue? I am not sure of the spelling, and I was still not impressed. Our local radio station playes a few songs by that band, one of them is x's and o's (I think), and I absolutely change the station when they play it. I can't stand it. Although, I must say, Underworld 1 and 2 are much better movies than Queen of the Dammed.

Dude, Interview with a Vampire was also a horrification. Anyone who has read the books will agree. Tom friggin Cruise as Lastat! COME ON NOW!!! OMG. Brad friggin Pitt as Louis.. OMG .. I need to go cut myself now........ just thinking about it makes me feel hostile.

Off the subject. I dont know if any of u can interpret dreams? Yesterday I had a WEIRD dream, I dreamed that I was in my bathroom, I sliced off my breasts with a razor and hung them up on 2 very rusty nails on the wall behind me. I have no idea where that came from.

Korndogg- no, none of any kind, I don't even drink, I used to but I stopped about 5yrs ago. Now I just stick to smokes and lots and lots of coffee. I guess it's a eastern European thing. The really fu*cked up part is that once I cut them and hung them, I realized what the f*** I did so I tried to put them back on. I woke up after that.

Vicster - the band you're thinking of (i think) is Atreyu. They are more than probably the least exciting band on that album. The first Underworld soundtrack is better than the second, imo. But the soundtracks are both excellent, if you listen to them straight through, not just one song on the radio. As I said before, though, Rev:22:20 is a f***ing AMAZING song.
There's a tribe (can't remember the name) of warrior women; they cut off their right breast in order to operate the bow and arrow better...not sure if they're still around. could just be myth, maybe they never actually existed. I dunno.

JD just called into our radio station, and he is doing WELL. His blood platelettes are back up to 300, and he is continuing treatment and resting. He thanks all the fans for their support, and thanks the bands that stepped in and took over for his vocals.. He wants to assure everyone that FVT is still on, and he is ready to ROCK!!! We love you JD!

Yeah! Its good to hear he is now out of hospital, i went to the Download Festival at Donnington Park Derby UK, it was terrible to hear that he was in hospital, the other vocalists did well Benji from Skindred and Corey Taylor from Stone Sour i thought where the best partiulary Corey for Freak on a Leash started out of time but he did the Beat Boxing part :D but no-one can be as good as Jon, i was wondering if there is going to be anymore appearances in the UK this year, know that he's able to perform again, does anyone know?

It's good to hear Davis is doing better.
As I've stated more times than anyone cares to hear, I'm not such a big fan of Korns latest album, I f***ing hate it and I'll never buy it....
When compared to all of their early material and scattered tracks from they're 3-6th albums it just feels like a total copout from them...
That said I'd love to see Korn live again.
I owe Korn and Deftones (as well as Pantera) for keeping my feet firmly planted in heavy music when alternative and (pop)-punk were all the rage. Since '99 I've gotten into darker heavier and weirder things but I'll always hold a spot in my heart for for those bands.
