Body Count Ready Fourth Album, "Murder 4 Hire"
It's been about a decade since the release of Violent Demise: Last Days, Body Count's third and supposedly final release. But on August 1, Ice-T and his reunited band will issue a 12-track LP called Murder 4 Hire, which promises to be just as controversial as the band's 1992's self-titled debut — the record that originally featured the infamous "Cop Killer" track. Ice-T, who plays a detective on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," kicks off Murder with "Invincible Gangsta," which contains the line, "F--- the cops." Look for the record to feature "In My Head," "Dirty Bomb" and "Down in the Bayou."

thats the ultimate irony though...This was an honest to god thug/dealer/thief etc then he became a rapper, then an actor and now he's reheating that old rap-metal band of his....
He get points for being more "real" than say Fred Durst and he's a great speaker/story teller....just doesn't speak to me, not my thing.

I think the group Body Count have give a new face to metalcore/trash metal. The monotonous describetion in metal business are often white guys, with long black hear and whole tattos on thier bodies and they always tring to se angry and bad look in front of. But is not the same thing with Body Count, their are black guys who sings out in a kind innovative way which makes them difference from aother metal groups. After I have listen the Body Counts new album "Murder 4 Hire" I realize that they have became better and better with the years. "Invincible Gangsta", "The Passion Of Christ", "Dirty Bombs" and "In My Head" are brilliant tracks in their new Album. The tracks has heavy and raw text and it sounds very dark and very good.

Hey dumbass! Stabilo! Go back to school. You're adding 'big words' in but yet you're not even saying things correctly if you're trying to sound smart. "They always tring" "But is not the same" And I don't think that Body Count is Metalcore/Thrash if he's rapping. It's rap metal just like RememberMetal? said.

Even his is rapping, is metalcore/trash for me and rap dosen't sounds like metal. Is like the same think that Korn don't write metal tracks but their are writting metal rap just like Limp Bizkit. The metal world is not about roar like a monkey, is everything as long as the have som new matrial in their new release.

After 10 years out of the metal scence will anyone even be interested? I mean I'll buy the album because ICE-T has some sick lyrics he is a genius at that but just it's been too long. Although their last album wasn't fast or that heavy it did have a few good tunes which grew on me, I hope "Murder for Hire" is heavier and faster.

IN ALL HONESTY !!!!! Let's face it.This is where Rap/Metal really got it's start. As far as a band that actually specialized in it so to speak is concerned. If it were not for COP KILLER & the controversy surounding it this band probably would not have been swept under the rug.Thierbye makeing way for the Fred Durst's of the world. As far as him playeing a cop on T.V. is concerned. What's that got to do with anything.Tom Hanks,Will Smith and a long list of other Actor's includeing Patrick Swaze Jake Gillinhall & Dwayne(THE ROCK)Myavia have all played gay men in movies & non of them are gay.If you are an actor you are getting paide to portray a certaine type of person. That does not mean that's who you are. It's not his fault that he's good at damn near anything he does. The man was a criminal who never got caught (Dealer/Thief/Pimp)What does this tell you ? He's a genius plaine and simple.
