Former Elysia Guitarist Danny Lomeli Has Died

Deathcore outfit Elysia have announced the passing of guitarist Danny Lomeli. This GoFundMe
has been launched to help cover the financial costs associated with Danny Lomeli's funeral and other final expenses.

The band shared the heartbreaking news in a statement issued tonight:

“We are so sorry to announce the sudden passing of Elysia guitarist, Danny Lomeli. It can’t be put into words how much this hurts and how much we will miss him. Danny first joined the band in 2007 and we’ve all been inseparable friends with him ever since. He was an integral part in the reformation and reunion of the band. He put so much work into making it come to fruition and he loved each moment with every fiber of his being.

Danny, this new reality of life without you is terrifying and heartbreaking. We are so grateful for the incredible new memories that the elysia reunion allowed us to make with you. The past year+ of relentless practicing, shows, and hanging out has been an unforgettable blessing. We’ve all wondered what the big meaning was to our reunion, what it represented, and what impact it would have on the band’s legacy. It turns out, none of that really matters. It was all just so we could spend more time together and feel so much more closer to you. That’s enough reason to do anything. We love you, Danny.
