Dreamwell Premiere New Single & Music Video "Carrion Birds On The Ark" From Upcoming New Album "Hymns For The Denial Of God"
Self-described post-skramz outfit Dreamwell have premiered a music video for their track “Carrion Birds On The Ark”, which debuted online today, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. The band once again enlisted former Stray From The Path bassist/vocalist Anthony Altamura to direct the visual.
Dreamwell's new album, “Hymns For The Denial Of God”, is scheduled for release on August 28th via Prosthetic Records.
Frontman Keziah “KZ” Staska explained the disturbing inspiration behind the song:
“It criticizes the long-running history of predation in the church. It doesn’t make sense that God would let these people shuffle from church to church with their misdoings simply buried by the organization. Carrion birds loom and wait for vulnerable prey to expire in a safe haven. The metaphor reflective of priests who wait for the opportunity to strike.”
