Primus Premiere New Music Video For "The Ol’ Grizz"

Multi-platinum alternative metal outfit Primus have premiered a new music video for “The Ol’ Grizz”. The track first appeared as an exclusive new song on the band's “A Handful Of Nuggs” EP, released this past May, and is also set to appear on their forthcoming tenth studio album, currently expected in 2027.

The partially animated video was directed by Cage Claypool, son of vocalist/bassist Les Claypool, continuing the band's tradition of keeping things in the family. As previously reported, both the song and the accompanying EP were inspired by Les Claypool's recent fascination with gold prospecting.

The video arrives just ahead of Primus' first European/UK tour in nearly a decade, with the following dates confirmed:
