See Archspire Cover Rosé & Bruno Mars' K-Pop Hit "APT." During A Single Studio Session

Canadian technical death metal innovators Archspire recently took part in Musora’s ‘On The Spot’ series, a challenge-based program that tasks artists with learning, arranging and recording a cover song in a single day.
For their contribution, the tech death speedsters selected “APT.”, the massively successful 2024 K-pop hit originally recorded by Rosé and Bruno Mars. The track became a global phenomenon, earning multiple platinum certifications and widespread chart success.
The episode follows Archspire as they deconstruct the pop anthem and rebuild it through the lens of their trademark technical death metal style, documenting the creative process from initial brainstorming to the finished performance. The result showcases the band's virtuosic musicianship, blistering speed and willingness to reinterpret material far outside the traditional boundaries of extreme metal.
Fans can watch the group work through the arrangement in real time before hearing the completed version of the song at the conclusion of the session.
The appearance comes as Archspire continue supporting their independently funded latest album, “Too Fast To Die”, which was released in April through a successful crowdfunding campaign. A trio of bands will be joining them on their fall European/UK Tour, including deathcore band Crown Magnetar, progressive death metal outfit The Zenith Passage and brutal death metallers Analepsy:
