Korn Rumored To Be on teh Verge of Signing New Deal with EMI/Virgin

Nothing is confirmed yet, but it is rumored that Korn are on the verge of signing a new deal with EMI/Virgin. Their first release will be a new album in October, currently being mixed by Terry Date.

Self releasing something would be difficult if you've spent your last 6 albums under the wing of a major label. This whole thing was done completely within Korns control, they can't blame another sh** record on circumstances record company execs.

Korns best years are WAY behind them, but alot of people who are backing legitimate metal bands might not be there if it werent for Korn reeling them in....I'm glad current and former Korn fans exist as their funneling money into less popular bands, which encourages fringe bands to work that much harder and put more cash can go into making the best albums possible while putting on better shows with more impressive equipment.

If you dont like KoRn, you have serious brain injuries. KoRn created a new genre of music when they first came out, who knows where rock music would be without them. Theres not one thing in KoRn that sounds like anybody, they are themselves which is a true form of artist.
