CKY Frontman To Mustaine: 'Stop Creating Drama'

Band Photo: Megadeth (?)
CKY guitarist/vocalist Deron Miller has slammed MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine for threatening to cancel any shows where "full-on Satanic" bands are also scheduled to appear. In a statement sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET, Miller wrote, "reading that ROTTING CHRIST has to cancel shows because of Dave Mustaine's recent and absurdly sudden Christianity is one of the most obviously ridiculous dramatic newslines in music. This from the guy that wrote 'Wake Up Dead'.
"Dave, I love MEGADETH, but JOIN REALITY. METALLICA was more succesful...so what?! Get over it. And now all of a sudden Christ is your savior... How weak. Take some credit for your own accomplishments.
"Remember in the '80s when the parents of your fans insisted that YOU were Satanic? You have turned into them. Stop creating drama. Your music is suffering and the fans have noticed. You've given ROTTING CHRIST the 'HOOK IN MOUTH'!!!!!!! Don't ruin your legacy for the longtime supporters."

CKY's frontman isn't going to repair Mustaine!
noone can!....
He(Mustaine) was JUST successful enough to become a quasi-legend in metal (and obviously full-on legend for 80's thrash) and just short of the mark on feeling like he was as massive as Metallica....He can at least say he stayed truer longer than Metallica.
And to each their own on the whole "i found god, Look as I turn my life around, with gods help of course" thing....I can't just cus i went the other way. Going so far as to not respect another religion is going to far, satanism included.
eog maniac f***ing man acting like a godamned spoiled toddler.
he wouldnt have been like this circa peace sells-countdown. and everyone here knows it.

wow passion got the better of me there........sorry all....that was probably hard to follow at points.
Let me fix my f*** ups.
3rd mini-graph "i just can't cus i went the other way" means:
I cant relate to Mustaines going the way of Head or being so pig headed as to not permit someone to share a bill with him if they believe in satan (no better or worse than ANY religion) as THEIR lord and savior. Where as i jumped ship from my Catholic upbringing at age 12 and embraced all religions as equal. none of which i currently subscribe to this day.
eog = ego
truer = more true
blah blah blah

Yea what metal said.....plus I dont blame Mustaine having those types of bands on thier, I cant even understand what the f*** thier playing on thier studio albums none of the less hear them playing live. Not saying I am against it or I think it sucks, it is just not for this type of gig. Gigantour was founded by Dave Mustaine, its up to him and his managment.

heh. thanks. that was messy post from me. But i meant every word of it. Even if it's "his" tour, to shame someone for having differnt religious views is childish.....
Thats like saying I'm a Steelers fan and no fan of the 49ers will EVER tour with me....flatly absurd.
Maybe Mustaine has become one of those god-fearers that he thinks by even keeping a satanic band on his bill will get him sent to hell one day. As if his whole past lifestyle were sinless.
what about guys who believe in "no god"?......Are they not allowed either?...Some chrisitian types would say thats just as bad as satanists....If Mustaine keeps it up he'll be the opening band and the headliner of a one band tour.

Dave's gone off the deepend. It's one thing to trash your former band, but it's another to do this. Besides, doesn't he get to pick who he tours with? If it really effected him so much, Rotting Christ wouldn't be on the tour at all.
HEY PEOPLE! IT'S SPELLED MEGADETH!!
RememberMetal?, I agree with your point, it would be like mem marrying a Cardinals fan. Never gonna happen.

Mustaine should just get off his Christian high horse and remember who put him in the position he is now....Im sure he had help from other bands no matter what they thought his "personal" beliefs were. That's the problem with the goddamned christians...and for the most part, people in the "scene" that think like him!!!

that fa**ot from cky should shut the f*** uo and mind his own damn buisness, he doesn't even play metal music so why the f*** is he opening his mouth and talk ing sh** to legends like that!!!!
on the other hand mustain is taking this a bit too far, though i can't blame him for not wanting to play for those sorry excuse's for musicians called rotting christ !

WTF ?!? Mustaine found God!!! I don't know if I should jump for joy or cry tears of despair.I realize that this is a decision that he had to make and that this is his tour so he control's it all.I support his decision but have difficulty getting my head around it.He seem's like the last one to go this rout.I mean he's got addiction issues which last I'd heard he kicked way back.Alot of people find god for that reason.Yet and still I can't see him like this.He got kicked out of Mettalica Ok fine.He rebound's with Megadeth. He's not as big as he could have been but even he admit's alot of it was his fault (his drinking). So you'd think he would have gotten past it by now.Anyway it's his decision to make. The kid from CKY is probably attempting to draw attention to himself with someone elses issue.

I know but It's still just wierd.I mean this is THE DAVE MUSTAINE ! were talking about.I just can't picture him as a Bible thumper. It does not compute.I see Tommy Lee and Vince Neil going down that road first.Hell even f***ing Lemmy , but Mustaine ? That's one of those thing's that hit's you like a brick hidden in a cream pie.You never saw it comin.

Alrite bodom Ima start on you first you f@g. CKYs front man was ina band called foreign objects which was more f*cking metal than megadeth you di<k so I think you should shut your trap :)
And zer0 you dam fool bam margera is a wicked c*** u fu<k.
And deron is just making a statement which is purely his opinion, he lives in the united states of america a country which prides itself on freedom and freedom of speech so deron can say what he dam well wants! he seems concerned bout the path mustaine is taking so dont judge deron tossers

24. writes:
where to start.....ok, cKy are an amazing band and i really hope they manage to step out of that d*** bam's shadow for just one album purely because they dont need some fagbag him fan plugging them all the time. bodom, you sound like one of those over opinionated self righteous music nazis....everyone is entitled to their own opinions, deron is just speaking his mind about something he feels very strongly about and rightly so. mustaine is just an a$$hole and he needs to stop being so evangelistic. just because you are at teh top doesnt mean you can spit at the bottom.....

26. writes:
yea, but its daves choice as to what he believes, and he can do whatever he wants, just like you or me. i cant kick a black guy out of a bar, but i can leave if i want to (no offense BLACKDOG, im not a racist, just an example) its about freedom of speech and freedom to choose your own actions
27. writes:
mustaine has always been sore about metallica's success...it's almost like he competes with metallica...but let's face that facts...EVEN THOUGH MUSTAINE CLAIMS TO "FIND GOD", it's STILL A HOLLOW REDEMPTION!!! and metallica is way more successful! he is just envious...and he hides his envy behind a cross...and where is this "satan" bias coming from???? what??? did he become a pentacostal...and BTW, who converted first, Korn's guiarist, HEAD, or MUSTAINE? that reminds me...i'm a korn fan...and i went to HEAD's new site...he has changed alot...and as much as i love him as a musician, he should've kept his conversion to himself and stayed with korn...because right now HEAD's site sucks ass!!!! and mustaine is going down a steeper hill than head
