Band Photo: Cradle Of Filth (?)

Heavy metallers Cradle of Filth are yearning for an extraordinary collaboration - with clean cut pop legend Sir Cliff Richard.

The tattooed rockers recorded a heavily-reworked version of Richard's Devin Woman and are keen to find out what the "Peter Pan of pop" thinks of their efforts - and if he'd consider duetting with them.

Guitarist James McLlroy says, "It would be interesting to know if he's heard it. I doubt he's a fan.

"Imagine a collaboration! Christmas number one!"

As a whole I could never get into black metal....but It impressed me beyond words. Lots of black metal leaves me with my jaw on the floor. Including Dimmu, COB and some COF, but I just can get into it.

It's not that i "don't get it" because I love Opeth, Pigdestroyer, Dillinger Escape Plan, Strapping Young Lad, hell even "The Locust" to some degree and many other left of the left metal bands. But pure-form and not so pure Black Metal.....just dont do it for me.

It is very unfortunate that Bam has latched onto Cradle of Filth like he did HIM. I swear most of the kids that go around with the Heartagram don't know its a band, and not just some skateboarding thing. But It is not Cradle's fault an MTV star likes them. But I do wish they would not do his show. Because it just means more Hot Topic kids running around with their logo.

But I liked them long before they did oozfest or caught on with BAM.
I don't care what they do so long as they stay true to their music. Any true fans of the band will understand that it doesn't matter if one person or one million like the band it matters that you do.
