Opens really strong and gets downright evil at the 0:30 second mark.

I knew Holmes would bring a completely different vibe from Akerfeldt but it works. Just a differnt demon evoking a differnt vibe but sustaining the menace and fury from Mikael's era.

I was kinda hoping Holmes would try and change his sh!t around for Bloodbath and not the other way around, but after listening to it a few times I don't hate it. He still goes harder than a lot of the Paradise Lost stuff I listened to upon finding out he'd be the new vocalist. Still heavy. Definitely not Mik, or Pete though.

I'm digging the song enough to give the album a shot. Here's to hoping they stream the full album.

I enjoy certain entries in the Paradise Lost catalog and I've got all the Bloodbath albums. It seemed like an odd fit to me too but the more I listen to "Unite in Pain" the more I like it.
