SOOOOOO much awesomeness!!
Left-handed and fretless.
You could tell he was just aching to let loose, but he had to keep the bass still for the video.

Amazing skills and love the tone. Reminds me of Jeroen Thesseling.

Yeah, that's some pretty remarkable work. I do find the rubbery sound of a fret-less kind of out-of-place sounding in most metal, though. I couldn't get into Obscura for that reason.

Beyond Creation are among the best in their class and Lapointe proves that here.

"The Aura" was a brilliant album and it's clear "Earthborn Evolution" is cut from the same cloth. In a crowded, samey, and increasingly trendy genre, BC positively dominate.

His left hand is pretty much bonkers the entire time. It's almost as if it is dancing. He slides that pinky in so slick half the time you can barely tell he's using it.

I also really like how he moves the hand around the pickups for slight nuances in tone.
